I didn't see Star Wars until years later. I did see Close Encounters in the theatre. I worked with an older guy that seemed kind of strange at the time. I mean who would be so enthused with a movie that he would go out and pay extra so he could have two personalized license plates "R2D2" and "CP3O". Both were Subarus, one was a Brat.

His non Star Wars work is a mixed bag. Obviously Raiders was great, but Willow, THX, even RadioLand Murders, which as an OTR fan I appreciated, but the execution wasn't too well. What he did with the original trilogy can't be matched, and as bad as the prequels were, at least he saved us from the SJW impact, which is deadly. The prequels did have a few good moments, unlike these last two which have nothing memorable. Take Ford out of TFA, and it's crap.

The ending scene with Vader was horrible. It didn't fit the opening of Star Wars but I loved that scene. It was like a Tarantino alternate reality. So awesome to see Vader actually in battle going full savage. Rogue One I did enjoy but it was plagued with rewrites and changes as well.

Knew it.... https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/george-lucas-felt-upset-betrayed-135500206.html Ah poor George they gave him six billion dollars and told him his ideas were shit. I wonder if he will ever be able to get over it. The funny part is they didn't even bother to come up with a plan or an idea, just figured they would pay directors to make it up as they go. George did his damnedest to destroy Star Wars and Disney gave him a mountain of cash and said hold my beer.

I’m not in front of my games but when did art printed directly under the posts start? From memory I’m sure my Tron and Ironman have little circles slightly bigger than the posts, routed out with no artwork within the black rings. There doesn't appear to be any consistency here. Star Wars had art under the posts, then Munsters didn't have art under the posts, then JP2 (and others) did have it again. *shrug*

Just a quick plug for @vireland ‘s silent fan mod - I did this on Jurassic Park and Star Wars both tonight. It is a HUGE improvement. I got mine via PBL as I was putting another order in anyway, but he also sells them here. Easy to do, good instructions, and it makes the machine stop sounding like a hair dryer.

There was data east Star Wars pinball machine at the Marriott hotel near Disneyland. We would go there and play it, bubble hockey and the Star Wars arcade. Those are my first memories of arcade games. Data east Star Wars was my first pin. I bought it in 2001. I since have a bubble hockey as well. I love the nostalgia.
