I had similar problems with the ball launcher coil also, but there Q5, Q44, Q3 were all bad. I replaced them and also the coil, now that looks fine. Do you have any idea why my scoop coil is burning? No Godzilla has outsold SW by a ton. They have been making them in huge numbers this whole time. This is not just by pinside numbers either, ask some distros... Perhaps soon or will be surely, but Star Wars has been run for a very long time. It has a bit of a jump on Godzilla, but surely Godzilla at this point will be passing it by already or soon enough.

I'd vote for Alien (1979) for the best space movie after SW. While the creatures in SW look like teddy bears or blue elephants, the alien (in all it's forms) still holds up today. Alien is a legend; I thought for a decade that the sequel was superior. It’s a Great Movie, but it’s not a masterpiece. (Cameron’s masterpiece is Terminator IMO) And Alien only exists because of a) Ridley b) It! the Terror from Beyond Space (and The Thing) and c) Star Wars

Ok, problem solved. Checked the wiring where I had been working, CN10, while looking for a Slam Tilt problem I had removed all the row connections while testing. Sure enough I had crossed the whi-org with the whi-red. I’ve learned a lot this last few weeks, getting older remembering it is another matter. Onto the next machine DE Star Wars. Again thanks for stating the obvious, I’m sure a lot of people appreciate it.

Jjp games are like this. Dialed in, gnr and Godfather. I like Dialed in. Hate Godfather, but truly am in the middle for gnr. Gnr is a great game held back by God awful software and coils. Stern star wars is also one that I think you love or hate. I find it absolutely terrible. Is it safe to assume bsd is the same? Love/hate? I think it is terrific, but initially thought it was stupid.

I had quite a few great Ballys, Williams and Gottliebs EMs over the years: 5 left that I can't let go. DEJP was my second SS and is now a big hit here. Jokerz was my first SS restoration: my "tuition" machine. Williams Sys 11B is a great system. I learned a helluva lot from it. DEJP would have probably been too big of a leap from EMs for me, so it paid off that way. But everybody always goes to Cactus Canyon and Star Wars first.

I don't think anyone is working on either of those. I thought I read somewhere that someone was considering doing Twister, but I can find any mention of it now. I don’t know if I ever said anything publicly; but, I almost picked up a Twister just to colorize it. I didn’t follow through I. It thought. My niece is getting ready to start trying to finish up an abandoned Star Wars Trilogy. She worked on it a bit before the holidays and then got distracted by some Xmas games.

Ya know the more I think about this… they should have done something like Star Wars Death Star. The majority of players never get to see the shark. The shark is barely in the movie so why shouldn’t the game be the same. Have the damn ball eating thing buried under an hour and half plus of gameplay. Then when people play on location they can all be asking each other… “did you see the shark?” Nah you?” “Not yet but I think I was close!”

What's the point of building an elaborate mech like that to only use on a final wizard mode that that vast majority of player's would never see Like the Death Star in Star Wars. I see the point. The game might play well as it is but still having the shark "eat the ball" is way better than "bashing the shark." The movie's not called Chins.
