Stern uses plastic switch mounts too.. and hot glue is used on our ribbon cables, same as commercial video games. In fact, first operator we shipped a TnA to insisted we hot glue the ribbon cables. Been doing it ever since. Simple game mech wise? Compared to what?[quoted image][quoted image] I would have went with Star Wars Pro Charlie. You are giving them too much credit.

Avengers? Star Wars? Even the best, multi-cultural, multi-billion dollar theme can drag its ass across the carpet if the gameplay sucks. I reserve judgement (and obvi payment) until I play a game these days.

Damnit!!!! I cant get a Plush or Funko baby Yoda till February? They are calling it "The Child" fyi. This seems like a major misfire by Disney marketing. I get that they were trying to protect the reveal, but why not reserve a bunch of factory time in China for "12 inch plush Star Wars toy" and send specs the day of the premier? Could easily have been the hot toy of Xmas 2019.

I know Star Wars comic version looks better, but gameplay is the same? Yes, same gameplay. The main issues I have with the code: 1. The multiplier timeout which requires you to stop what you’re doing and hurryup to feed it. Constantly. 2. Overuse of the video mode which itself a tedious game. Star Wars was my first pin and I have a soft spot for it, but we really don’t play it these days.

Would the licensing fee already be paid to make he pinball machine in the first place? Do you have to pay an additional fee to make an item for the original machine? They were able to produce side art, armor and a shooter rod that has star wars all over it. Those were all the same prices as other machines so why is this topper so much higher? I just don't think its for licensing, but I have no idea how licensing works either.

I love some of those games but old themes get, well... old.

I just love the Mandalorian, I don’t care if it has depth or brains or anything deemed compelling by any standard, it’s just awesome to watch as a long time Star Wars fan. It totally reconnects with the original trilogy while having a strong taste of futuristic western like Cowboy Bebop.

So I just noticed something with my Cleland sound install, I no longer hear the attract music or shout outs. Was eating dinner and not playing and heard my Simpsons, Metallica and Star Wars all play or do something but not guardians. I checked the settings and attract was set to on. Any ideas? Everything else seems to work fine.

That's not how much it is, that's the star wars topper. BKSoR is $430ish. And for that price, the Star Wars topper better do more than just have R2D2 twist his head, blip and bleep. Odd that Stern hasn't posted them on its website as of this writing. Official announcement days be damned - this is the run up to Xmas: get all the orders (and $$$) you can! Plus we'd all love to have our toppers BEFORE Xmas so we can have them up and running on our games FOR Xmas.

Here’s your chance, vote with your wallet and don’t buy this piece of junk. $750 insanely dumb. I was thinking earlier that I should buy one just to piss people off. We'll see what the videos of the actual product look like. BK topper is a sure thing when it is released. Star Wars is a long shot but still possible.

Yeah, overall everything so far is verifying what I figured was going to be the case; I'm outside the target market, but then, I am one of the VPin nuts who's built her own cabinet, and that does make this look so much more like a toy. Technically, we're in the same boat (mostly) with Arcade1Up, as I build a MAME cabinet for four players, and the only reason we even have one Arcade1Up in our house is that it's Star Wars.

What do you think now that your $500 dollar toppers with moving parts are now going to cost $750.00. Include tax and shipping your now $500 dollar toppers with moving parts are now going to cost close to $800.00. Black Knight topper is bad ass and moves and the price point is $430. It also doesn't have the Star Wars license to deal with. R2D2 robots are obviously something Disney is protecting the rights on very closely.

Each episode of Mandalorian seems inspired by classic film, the latest episode 4 being Seven Samurai. While this is somewhat derivative, it's at least closer to the approach Lucas took with his originals which was to draw from classic literature, serial movies, fairy tale, myth etc and apply it to a space story. Whereas the Disney Wars movies draw from only Star Wars itself. Like an inbred family, won't last very long without introducing new elements.
