Finally installed my Pinitech NVRAM in my Bally Speakeasy. Before the install I was having problems with settings saving despite having fresh batteries installed in a remote box. The install was easy. Just remove chip and push NVRAM into existing socket. Everything works perfectly now.

    Bally/Stern AS-2518 Club ! Post #2438 in topic

Posted over 3 years ago by JethroP – in All clubs (...members only!) ‐ Last reply yesterday

How the hell would you reinforce this so it doesn't get worse? Good news....it won't get worse. The hole provided a "crack stop". In my engineering experience, if a crack developed in a metal structure, we would often drill a hole at the end of the crack to stop it from propagating farther. Side note: Used to have a Speakeasy. The worse thing I remember about the flyaway targets were they broke and were unobtainable. I think now though people are 3D printing them.

So, here's one for the group I need some suggestions on... Take a look at this pic. It's a Speakeasy, so it's a resin playfield... And it's cracked. Can confirm that crack shows through the other side as well. How the hell would you reinforce this so it doesn't get worse? Sidenote - though cool as hell the flyaway targets are an absolute mother to work on [att=6061062,2262211 caption=""]

Ask Geraldo he knows where it is? Well since Capone's vault ended up being an underground speakeasy that had to be located off of hotel property so the hotel couldn't be in trouble. And never was a vault. My hidden bunker must be 300 feet East under 11th avenue. Thank you for your help in locating it ! LTG : )
