  Hey guys! New to routing and have some games at one location! My best earner and lowest maintenance game so far is my Data East Simpsons. This is usually followed by spiderman or southpark earning wise! I'm pretty new to repairs and such, are there any other decent theme games that are relatively simple to upkeep? I had a doctor who that I ended up selling because I feared the mini playfield going down.

  Can usually install them anywhere but often screwed to an existing post. That means you can put it on either side and in front or back above playfield. Couple of previous titles - TSPP and GZ. [quoted image][quoted image] Looks great in Simpsons… but I think it’s not a universal mod.

  I don't have a ton of time on either, but the first time I played Cactus Canyon on location I almost got to the wizard mode. Cactus Canyon 100% if you have kids and/or never got to the mini Wizard Modes in Simpsons. As to Alien, only ever played it at shows. I think Cactus Canyon with upgraded code when it comes out will be really neat.

  Lol stern has never never made 10k machines plus on a single theme. I'd wager that TSPP and ACDC are close to that number. They ran both games for a long time. They were still cranking out Simpsons in 2010.

  If you really want depression, look at vehicle and housing prices over that time span. How dare you hit me with facts and reality! I sold that Jokerz for $1500 and got a Simpsons Pinball Party (that will be the last Stern I ever own). Traded it for a STTNG, then traded that for a Junkyard, then traded that for an RFM. RFM is the crowd-pleaser game in the collection, so it stays. I wish I still had all those predecessors, but I'm not wealthy.

  Looking for advice on repairing a Data East Simpsons display. The lower display works fine but the upper display is completely blank. Game has a new Rotten Dog control board. I have check the + and - 100 volts and the R8 and R9 resistors and all seems normal. What should my next step be?

  I feel if the creators wanted color, they would have done so. Pretty sure they didn't have coloured dmds back then and if they did it would have been too expensive . The first one I ever saw was on The Simpsons pinball party and there was only a few colours on the little TV screen on the upper Playfield .
