  as if you have those 2 UNCUT Dungeons & Dragons marquees! hmu if you ever want to sell Almost all of those marquees came from the York and Allentown show flea markets. Was thrilled to pick those up last weekend. My remaining white whale wall hanger is the low quality data east Simpsons backglass and I'm good. A few of those came from an anonymous gracious pinsider who sent a stack when he saw my setup. (Thanks!)

  Stern just posted this on their FB... "Views from the Stern HQ." [quoted image] I'm much more into a new Spiderman pin than Venom, but that's the 4th Spidey pin now? (Gottleib, Stern 2008 (normal/black), reskinned Comic Spidey, this one). But IF they do it, PLEASE no more terrible voice acting like the comic spidey with the atrocious voice work.   That’s impressive…you have a up and coming pinball Wizard in your house! It’s a lot of work to get that score on Bond with the latest code +1. That's better than my best score so far. Very impressive. Our 12 yr old daughter is the household champ on our Monster Bash and our 10 yr old son is 2nd on the MB and has a couple spots on our Simpsons PP best scores. To bastardize the quote from Dazed and Confused: "I keep getting older and they keep getting better at pinball."

As always, I will be interested in an Addams Family in the $4,000 to $5,000 range.

  Because there's more downside then upside to killing flippers in mini playfields. If the switch detecting balls entering the Mando Helmet is broken, then the whole toy is basically broken. And the game could get confused during multiball about where everything is. Agreed…please leave em active like Simpsons Pinball Party…20 years later on that machine and still going strong with no issues…they’re always at the ready for action!

  The toys and code of TSPP would be hard to top... Especially given the recent trend of "shots as toys," I think a new release Simpsons would have a hard time coming out of the shadow of its early 2000's companion... TSPP holds up against most anything in Sterns catalog.

  Having never owned one, I just assumed that code was not as good as the pins of today! Clearly, not so! Yeah Simpsons along with Lord of the Rings from then were easily the deepest games of their time. Both have very deep objective based rulesets that few modern games even touch. I can't believe it's been 20 years since both were released!

  You mentioned "with up to date code" but Simpsons is already deeper then nearly all modern Stern's. Keith Johnson did an incredible job on its ruleset. Stern would have a difficult time improving on this one.

  Simpsons already has a real good game that captures them at a great time where they can focus on their peak material (blah blah blah, discussions about what seasons were best). South Park and Family Guy came out well before they hit their stride (blah blah blah, discussions about what seasons were best. You have to be past your prime before you can make a game that captures it all). Either of those could use a sequel way more than Simpsons needs a trilogy.

  For prem le you can’t get to ball unless you take the upper playfield out. Anyone do it yet? Is it difficult? Simpsons was kind of easy.

  Get a led tube for the back box. Just cut the starter and ballast out of the circuit. Yes. Marco sells them. I put one in my Simpsons.

  Not to turn this into a thread about Pinstadiums, a controversial topic, but I am curious: are Pinstadiums "mods"? Sometimes when people say "mods" they're talking about figures or toys put on the playfield. To sataneatscheese's example, a colorDMD on a Simpsons Pinball Party might be a "modification", but I don't think of it as a "mod". The Itchy and Scratchy TV that plays episodes on a loop is definitely a mod.

  Want to give a shout out to BGresto.com. Had my mirrored Simpsons backglass peeling and flaking. see pics. Got it restored by Steven, and he did just an incredible job, it looks factory new. Definitely recommend this for anyone wanting their backglass restored to new! First 2 pics are original and last two are the resto pics. With the restore I got to keep the mirrored finish.   Those Data East switches are junk. You should replace it with the opto board from Davi, I enclosed pics of this board with correct wiring sequence. This is from GNR, but Simpson should be the same.   So looking at a 3-5 game lineup to get people engaged locally at legion.two dmds with balance older solid state. Looking for playability and fun factor to get people hooked.Budget is $15000 with no ems….obviously these arent A or B list titles but looking to upgrade once traffic increases. All ideas appreciated! Everyone loves The Getaway. Most people love DE Simpsons, but it's alphanumeric. If it has to be DMD then find a Cue Ball Wizard. For #3, an early Stern, like Meteor or something.
