  Yeah Morpheus' mod is great. What he hell was Williams thinking? The original has to be one of the worst pinball parts ever. I think they did it this way to not go over budget, many of the designer's ideas are not implemented because of this, Scared Stiff had a lot of things removed to not go over budget

Even though I've been assured that low hold power on WPC/DE/GTB3/etc can be held indefinitely without damage to the flipper coil, I'd still be wary about going more than 10 or so minutes. For a phone call/bathroom break? Sure. Overnight?   I've got a Scared Stiff pinball taken apart in the shop right now. These parts are not in my game, nor do they appear to be anything that can be fitted on the game. UPDATE: They look as if they would be under the skirt of the three pop bumpers, but you'd have to route out the space for them out of the wood of the playfield? *scratches head* I dunno.

  My Doctor Who pinball is great with the ColorDMD. I actually score higher with it than the original orange screen. I also like Elvira's Scared Stiff with the ColorDMD. I recently saw a White Water after the restoration and it looked better with ColorDMD. For some it is a money thing, for others it is an originality theme.

  Everybody has their preferences but if I was buying four games that were around $10K each they would be: GZ premium, Attack from Mars, Elvira's House of Horrors or Scared Stiff, and Cirqus Voltaire. Of course, that's way more than I would want to spend so I'm more in the market for DMD games in the $4K to $6K range.

  Have a players quality Scared Stiff for sale in VA. Nice playfield. New flippers. Fixed Pop bumpers. Replaced broken glob tower. Dmd has a scrolling line in it I don't want to mess with. Everything else works as it should. Its smooth and clean. Cabinet has some dings and scratches. Backbox works great. Looking for $7500 obo. Much lower than games on market now. Going on market tomorrow. Wanted regional peeps to have first crack.

  EHOH all day long. I've played godzilla and it wasn't bad, just didn't click with me, also didn't really like the bazillion different monster fights. Elvira is a great game, I play it whenever I get the chance. I own a scared stiff so probably am a bit biased :)

  Yeah, the fact that that dial on the topper is useless makes me wish I could go back in time and not buy the topper. I don't understand why they couldn't integrate the topper with the center button so when the needle spins, you can hit the button to try to stop it on the award you want. Pete's sake... you could do that on Scared Stiff thirty years ago! It can't be that difficult.

  Please remember the non-pro players who don’t give a flying f about high scores. I appreciate great call outs (scared Stiff, MM, MB, CC) and unexpected behaviors (Halloween, Theatre of Magic). A great topper like Godfather CE and Blacknight Sword of Rage. Heck, who needs 4 player? Two or three is enough for 90% of us. I hate waiting on a 4th player. Think out of the box. TCM does look sweet in its present state… Good luck.

  There are only 8 BW games that sell for 9k+ … SS … Take out the licenced ones… Licensing for Scared Stiff is probably very doable, I think Cassandra Peterson owns the rights and she’s worked with lots of people to bring the character to various projects. Besides there are a bunch of EHOH owners that might want both NIB.

  You know what would make this game fun is more SPINNER! I feel it rarely comes up and most of the time its during a multiball and rushed. It needs to be implemented better like in scared stiff. I think this is a good solution to the few extra balls and keys etc in this game. Would really open the game play up. You lost me at spinner in Scared Stiff. :-)

  Man, it's kind of hard for me to pick one. 2023 was a busy year with many games coming in... Scooby-Doo, Creech, Popeye, Scared Stiff, Cactus Canyon, Godzilla, Indiana Jones (Williams). It was a great year! I'm going to go with Scooby-Doo since it was a grail theme of mine. Got it almost a year ago now and still loving it!

  This board is from a Scared Stiff. I was getting the check fuses F101,F109 and check 12v Opto power supply messages. The LED on the board is out showing no power. I replaced the board from a No Good Gofers and all is fine. Is there an obvious place to look for the board to be repaired or should I just replace it?

  The best time to do the big 90's re-makes is either a few years ago or right now, so it's likely they were starting to get antsy, the best time to re-make TZ addams or w/e else is now-5 years from now. After that you're into a new market segment and who knows what the demand would be? TAF or Scared Stiff would be nice. Prices have been falling a bit lately, but if I’m paying $10K+ then I’d rather have a new-in-box whatever-it-is. $4-5K is just about my max for an aged fixer-upper.

  Boulder mod kit for Sorcerer? Here's a rough mock up using the boulder images from WhiteWater and an aftermarket mod/tunnel with eyes that light up. All the flat plastics with bricks/stones on them got me thinking about what it could look like to bring this Sorcerer's world to life in 3D.   By your definition, I've gotten to the wizard modes on ToTAN twice, and Scared Stiff once.... Sold AFM without finishing it (owned it 15 years), never seen LITZ..... I dont focus on reaching wizard modes though. I play. If a buncha stuff lights up, awesome. I had fun either way.
