    The subway plastic I'm looking for is the one that goes under the dead world, over the top of the subway entrance. It has screen printing of a little sign that says "Cursed Earth", and it has a green armored vehicle on it, and also a big red arrow that points to the subway entrance.     I hope you're not saying that none of the lamps in that row are working now. If so, you probably blew something up when you connected the wires to the spot you guessed at. Can you point out where you attached them? If there is not a red/grey wire attached to the Right Loop Arrow lamp, that's where they go. I suspect that the Gargle and Attack lamps are further down the wire and simply connecting the two wires together would have been enough to get those two working.

    I edited the post where I asked about Pin 10.. I believe it has to do with the Blanking Signal.. Where I put my 1st red arrow. I checked again and 10 is dead. Pin 1 is to the left of the notch on the package and is also marked by a dot on this Williams board right? [att=997074,261336]

    Ok, I determined from the article and the schematic, (arrow points out) that this is an NPN type transister. I put my meter on the NPN setting put the black lead on the center, tested both outside legs with the red, and get 000 on the meter. Tested with power on and power off.

    Looking at this schematic I see that U50 (an 7402IC ) has pins 11 and 12 that are input pins for the output pin 13. This goes to pin 5 of U56 ( 7406IC ) right? I've marked the area I'm talking about with a red arrow U50 is on a socket, if I pull it should I get any activity at U56 with my logic probe? [att=994399,261041]

    I had also reported earlier that the dummy flasher was not working. Then I noticed that none of the flashers are working: This includes the two in the hot dog, the 12 o'clock arrow, the middle circle below the 12 o'clock arrow and the red white and blue ones behind Rudy's head.

    I'd like to add a bug. Not sure if the LE has it or not or maybe someone can elaborate. But on the pro: Bug: storm red arrow is almost always lit for no reason.

    It probably wouldn't be too hard to wire the Wolverine flasher into another insert to make it go off in-game. Like, you could piggy-back it onto the Wolverine insert light, or the red arrow in front, or something...right?

    There are 5 main shots as on AFM (See Pic. Look familiar?). Each with 4 inserts and a Red "Shoot here" arrow. Shooting a shot 4-5 times starts/qualifies the Hurry up for that shot.     I also noticed that completing any of the pop bumper count downs lights one of three lights at the left dead end shot for a higher scoring total when the shot is made. edit: Complete letters FUEL to light the red spider arrow solid at the dead end and the shot will award you double scoring for 20 seconds. This will be a very useful strategy to exploit during multiball to double jackpots, as FUEL mode takes quite a lot of hits to get started (fill tank completely, hit FUEL standups to start)

    Purchased X-Men Wolverine L.E. # 17 on a whim. I hope it lives up to my expectations :oops: I added a head phone input cause my tenant bitches about my loud volume levels. GI lighting is excellent! STERN should have used RED color for the arrow inserts. The cool white does not bring out the RED color as well as if they would have used RED LED's.     Here are two more premium/LE playfield pics that were not posted before. They clearly show that the coffin ball lock will have color changing lighting. Could be - or could be one color and red optos. :) The features chart said there will be 6 color changing inserts...so - I'm guessing the 5 "arrow" shots ...and one more - so, yeah, could be the Coffin.

    take a screwdriver and gently pry apart at the red arrow. you don't need to pry it a lot, just enough to loosen the metal. You should be then able to pull the flipper out from the top. [att=745094,231502]

    My Whirlwind is serial #2 and it has a green arrow there. It has red playfield lamp boards and it does have some differences from regular production games. (Williams logo on the speaker panel instead of a large W, The fan was never installed, extra unused wires for the ball trough, extra proto game roms revision 0, etc.)

    F-14 where manufactured differently. Some use lamp boards in places while others do not. I bet that is what happened. Some F-14s have lamp boards (555 bulb) for the red and blue arrow targets(that point to kicker and vuk) while others have individual 44/47 sockets.

    I am in the process of installing LED flipper buttons. I need to get power to them. I am supposed to install them from the power from the start button. I looked at the lamp matrix and on the column side it has a diagram that shows Yellow (B+) with an arrow to red.
