  Anyone recommend which boards to swap in for original? Not hearing great things on Rottendog. Anyone else make MPU for Cosmic? This guy makes great boards! I bought the combo and power supply for my Pharaoh and the craftsmanship is incredible.   I think its a great idea. Lots of games I like playing game wise but cant stand the theme, art and sound packages. Lots of new sterns. I couldn't agree more. Make Rush into a sequel DE time machine. That would be awesome! The layout of Iron Maiden is cool but I couldn't name one of their songs with a gun to my head. The art is good, Pharaoh's Curse, boom. Much more interesting than a band game. The layout and engineering is already done. Make some rules, sounds and music. Hell, recycle the lightshows.

  On the Slam Tilt podcast I created a segment to get games without the required reviews over the hump to land an official spot on the pinside top 100 list. (Each game needs 50 total).   New member of the pro club with NIB pin. I searched the key posts and the forum for this (maybe I'm not searching the correct terms) but is there a fix for jumps off the center ramp that hit the pharaoh plastic above the bullseye instead of hitting the bullseye? I get lots of jumps to the plastic with clean flipper shots which I'm assuming can't be good. Thanks in advance

  Installed red led trough lights this afternoon. Really helps light up the lower playfield near the flippers. Also finally got around to installing the pharaoh start button.   Joined club. Anyway to get less air balls off center ramp I’m on the pro version. Pitch is 6.8 with flipper coils reduced to 240. The center ramp's supposed to go airborne to hit the Pharaoh target. What's yours doing?

  Definitely a repaint? I could see it happening in production as those machines were in high demand when first released The money was flowing and Williams wouldn't want to delay any sales. Williams Pharaoh has one front cabinet color stencil backwards on some of their games... So when you looked at the game, the start button had floating bug legs on top of it.

  So driver board is now good, but one sound doesn't work, the pulsing echo sound that fades and plays the whole time your playing the game, AND there is no Pharaoh voice. All the rest of the game sounds work. I'm guessing the voice and ROM's are on the smaller board to the left? Strange, when I push the test button just three sounds play and then a long pause and the three sound off again.- Tom

  Right now it’s back burner because the cpu is locked up. Bummer. Plus so many other projects I’m trying to plow through at the moment that aren’t “locked”, like a Neptune I’m neck deep in trying to figure out, plus a nice Totem and a Bally Eight ball CPR swap, but I’ll eventually be circling back around to Pharaoh when I figure out what I want to do with the cpu.

  Any idea on if the Premium translite is any better as far as light glare? Ah shit I was thinking backboard = the back of the playfield where the pharaoh is. If you mean the glare is coming from the backglass then there's a setting to dim that during play in the features too. That was a big problem for me too until I found that setting.

  Just installed my pop bumper Pharaoh from Pinbawlers - my 6 yr old keeps making me get more Eddie figs! I put the Piece of Mind fig from eBay over the left ramp so I had room for Pharaoh.   I would suggest Sorcerer or Flash Gordon. You seem to appreciate pinball that’s based on skill and less on the ability to understand complex rules. The EMs and classic 80s Solid States are the best in my opinion. Pharaoh is a really cool game, and Medusa is another one.

  Ignoring the first 2 switches on left it is set to 101000 which does not appear on the list. That's the correct switch setting for #pharaoh according to my MPU327-1 board list (second last option on the right). [att=7552745,3366909 caption=""]

  Thanks, might try Weebly at some pint, just have a few MPU-327 purchased well before they gave up on system 7s that I want to use up first As PinballPlusMN said, support was dropped for all System 7 with the MPU-327, so Pharaoh isn't supported anymore. I would throw them up on Marketplace for the system 3-6 guys to use and buy something that is supported, like a Weebly.

That's a big (and surprisingly elusive!) piece for the #Pharaoh -shaped puzzle I've started gathering pieces for... :mrgreen: Very exciting stuff!!!

  Gotta say Lior's backboard complements the apron beautifully. I'm almost done with my Maiden now all that's left is to powdercoat it when I get my new side rails. Such an awesome game.
