  Best shot in pinball, I'd venture to wager. I think I get what you’re saying… best feeling if making that shot might be more accurate. I think the one shot you get to defeat Smaug is the best shot in pinball. Definitely agree with this, hear this a lot about that sequence leading to the final shot. No Good Gofers hole in one ranks up there pretty high for me in terms of how it feels to make that shot and how I feel after making it. Maybe the ring shot on Lord of the Rings too.

  No Good Gofers has an amazing light show to start Multiball, the callout and sound effects are timed extremely well. Gromflomite in Rick and Morty is pretty spot on too! Awesome sweeping light show and the siren to go with it. NBA Fastbreak is up there for me as well.

  Almost certainly not possible without a software modification. You can put the hardware (solenoid) in the machine but you still need software to drive the transistor. Presumably, Williams software expects the knocker to be solenoid #7. This solenoid is used for a different purpose in Cirqus Voltaire and No Good Gofers. Monster Bash and Cactus Canyon have solenoid #7 unused so the software may activate the knocker. It depends on the software.

  @jbtheavguy Apron bubbling is pretty common problem on Road Show, that may be something I address, but I have a couple other projects in the line-up. I have been thinking about making a high apron that eliminates the chrome wire-form like on No Good Gofers. I also was thinking of using the Promo Stand plastics in the apron with a back light, Ted or left, Red on Right. It would require trimming the plastics down, but there seems to be plenty of them available on eBay.

  I had a similar problem on No Good Gofers. Turned out to be a bad diode which was causing a switch matrix issue that caused the game to think the slam tilt switch was closed when it really was not physically closed. It could also be caused by a short somewhere. If it’s that kind of issue it can be a pain to find the root cause.   Just got a No Good Gofers machine. The right speaker is very quiet compared to the left. So standing in front of it playing, the sound is out of balance. Is it normally in “perfect” stereo?   Yeah good analysis..and I’m sure CGC is also taking note on the ‘style’ of pin to be remade. My bet is that they want to remake machines (like CC) that appeal to a larger, fam/friendly crowd. And I’d be perfectly content with a remake of No Good Gofers :-)

  The slam tilt could be a switch matrix issue. Go into switch test mode. When you push the train switch do you see the slam tilt switch turn on? These can be a pain to track down. Could be a short or a bad diode. You want to try to figure out what row or column the problem is on then inspect that switch by switch. This might help.   As a huge Toy Story fan, and someone who was on a preorder list, this was an epic fail. Never mind the fact that it's based on TS 4 (that's bad enough), but look at the PF. WTF? Where are the toys? You'd think a pin based on a movie about toys would...I don't know....actually have freaking toys on it? The most exciting part of the pin is the jump ramp, and that's a rehash by Lawlor from No Good Gofers. Lame. Order cancelled.

  So the jump ramp goes.... where? To destroy the pop bumper covers? Half surprised they're not jumping the ball onto the HUGE screen. There is a plastic sheet over the pop bumpers much like No Good Gofers.

  Last week I picked up a very nice #champion-pub (I think it's HUO). It's a machine I have fond childhood memories of. It temporarily stands downstairs before seeing the rest of the machines upstairs. Nice to know. It has a piece of (I believe) No Good Gofers in the cabinet. The picture I took is not so good.   Ok I think I fixed it! It was a poor connection of the white-red wire to the molex on Mpu board at j208. That row of switches is working now. Now I’m back to still having the original problem I was trying to solve of some switches ghosting on when others are closed. Dammit. Haha.   I’m Still looking forward to this game. Wish I saw the photos during the filming of the promo. They are tight lipped on this pat lawlor game All I know is it has a shot similar to no good gofers with the slam ramp up into a toy box I was told. Will be interesting for sure. Hopefully it is put out there this week at Texas pinball fest.

  Addams at the top, but Whirlwind and No Good Gofers are right there. Road Show is an honorable mention. TZ isn't my cup of tea theme wise. Haven't played Dialed In. Earthshaker is too over the top for me...sheltering in an earthquake? Other than Rudy, I don't get the appeal of Funhouse.

  I don’t own one but No Good Gofers has to be the most bug filled game of the wpc era. Sure we would all like rule tweaks to our favorite games but fixing bugged out games would be great. It would sure create more demand for those games.
