There are gonna be great pictures taken of the eclipse, but even better pictures with the eclipse as a backdrop. Locally, Niagara Falls is close which would be a fantastic foreground. Total eclipse is 1 week from today. Announcing a State of Emergency For Niagara Falls which is like 20 minutes from Buffalo as they are expecting 1,000,000 people. Buffalo and Cleveland are expecting huge influxes of people too. This is the forecast for Buffalo. Still too early to fully predict clouds or not as the forecast yesterday had full sun on Monday 4/8. Get your eclipse glasses. Where are people heading, or like me, just staying home and looking up? [att=8107057,3839643 caption=""]

My buddy has brought 3-4 pins in through Shippsy on skids. It's $100 a skid from Niagara NY to GTA or London ON. He used to drive down to pick up but for $100 it's way cheaper to do this and they clear customs. I don't think you need to prove it's USA made.

Anybody in Canada have any pins they want to sell? Post #15635 in topic

Posted over 3 years ago by PinPickle – in Regional for sale threads ‐ Last reply today

The Auction is actually in Indianapolis, IN, US. It is Ripley Auctions (nothing to do with Ripley's Believe it or not) and the machine is from a Guinness World Records Museum. Just FYI, in case someone was actually excited about the game. Well you ½ right. It is Guinness not Ripley. My bad. The auction company is in Indianapolis but if you read the fine print, you need to pick the pin up from it’s location in Niagara Falls. So.. if some is excited about it, they still can be.

Yes. I have a pinball barstool and a Marco order. Got a broker quote and it was more than the value of the goods! Only option I guess though How does the broker option work? I have about 20 packages sitting at a parcel service in Niagara Falls that I am desperate to get? The company won’t ship the items for me, just hold them. At this point, I’m willing to suck it up and pay whatever tax and fees there is as I’m losing money everyday they sit there.

Missed the "Sunday" part in Larry's post! Thanks for pointing that out. Perhaps the Ontario folks that are interested could do a group buy and save on shipping... Shipping is such a killer to Canada, I'm lucky to live within 30 mins of the border so I use a service called Kinek and I have everything shipped there and I scoot across and grab it. I save tons on shipping and import fees as well. I know Pickering is a jont from the Niagara crossing but it might be worth it depending on price.
