Can you sub a fuse from another machine? or even the one you'e working on. Most of all Data East/ Sega weird issues are almost always fuses, at least in my experience. My Hook and LAH had a mind of their own....they would do crazy shit that had me looking for a false issues for hours and then it would turn out to be a fuse...Hook and LAH are my nemesis. A Fandango (http://ipdb.org/search.pl?any=fandango&search=Search+Database&searchtype=quick#818) just came up, looks like it's in great shape, except it's painted powder blue again... (I guess we have a local powder blue cabinet painter over here - maybe a new arch-nemesis for me!) I don't care for the brand, the theme or anything about it and maybe would use that as my retheme candidate. Would you guys resent me if I did? Is my Gottlieb chauvinism making me unduly disrespect this Playmatic machine?

Pascal Board? extra strength coils on flippers and pops? nice and high in the back? It's usually the left drain that is my nemesis. Anyway... you got a nice little collection there daddio. Like Chris said above those sockets suck. I have re flowed solder on that board three times now. Got all the GI working but still have one flasher socket that is my nemesis. Works on the bench, then after a game or two stops working. I'm guessing it heats up, or maybe my shaker which is wired to the same flasher circuit is vibrating something loose. Your MM is your friend, learn how to check continuity, it's one of the resistance settings.

We'll look into the possibility of adding 'fractions of a player' to the player count based on the experience of that player. If we can pull it off without too much trouble I like the idea. Nah, no drama here... Established rated player = 1.0 base points Newbie = 0.1 base points And from the dark depths of fractional hell emerges the established pinball nemesis METRIC MAN, who can boldly claim he is 10 times better than mere mortal players LOL :) All in fun. Keep up the good work, Josh and Brian.

Tom Baker was in Philadelphia for a Creation convention, and Sylvester McCoy was at the premier of Silver Nemesis in Newark NJ. I had also met Troughton and Pertwee at other shows. I have pictures of all but Tom Baker - I do have video of the event I was at though...

Nemesis modes that taunt you.... Post #19 in topic

Posted over 12 years ago by smokedog – in All Pinball ‐ Last reply over 12 years ago

One night at my location, my buddy got monster multi in SS, then we played some TZ and he got LITZ, so on our last beer we decided he'd better play TAF. And he proceeded to tour. He had a good night! When I saw the thread title with 'Nemesis' in it, I was expecting modes you get in games that either make you angry, or cause you to drain right away. My vote was for Mamushka. Stupid mode, once I start it, I'm 4 seconds away from draining every time. I think it's the music. Curse you, Mamushka.

Wow! If Jersey Jack gets Keith Johnson (Simpsons Pinball Party designer, who has been wanting to get back into pinball after the most recent Stern layoffs) to do a future pinball for them, Stern will have a formidabble arch-nemesis. Nabbing Dennis Nordman is pretty huge. His last glorious return to pinball design (designed some legendary pins like White Water and Elvira), resulted in one of Stern's biggest monster collectors on location....Pirates of the Carribean.
