For example in Monaco: There is a high-octane boost in the rates for the Grand Prix and, according to Monaco-Matin, it isn't uncommon to pay around €7,000 ($7,800) for two nights in a room which would usually cost around €1,000 ($1,100) for the weekend.

Got a Monaco a couple years back and would play but doesn't score correctly (and maybe some other features don't work). It has sat for the last two years and would like to get it up and running correctly. I haven't worked on a bingo machine before, but am familiar with EM pinballs. I can get 3, 4, or 5 in a row and sometimes will score right, sometimes doesn't score at all, and other times will only give a few replays instead of the full count. I have the schematics and manual, but not sure where to start.

Vector Gamer has a good point, having games that are not easily emulated would bring me back. I'd love to play a Chicago Coin Speedway, Night Driver, Hard Driving, Sprint 2, Super Sprint, Gorf, Tron, Air Hockey, Monaco GP, Turbo, Tapper. I happen to like properly playing EM games just as much as SS/DMD. The problem is that most people are unable get EM's to the point where they play properly which makes people who try them for the fist time think they are boring.

I’m curious to know what funeral home it was, and how long they kept it until you acquired it. It was in Gloucester County. I will ask my friend, who supplied the lead about 12 years ago. The funeral home's landscaper purchased the game and had it briefly before he left his wife (and house) and evidently ran off with another woman. He left behind Hit the Deck and a Segasa Monaco. I almost bought Monaco as well because, like HtD, it too was in exceptionally nice condition.

I used to have 8 vids and 1 pin. Now I have two vids and 6 pins with 2 more in the works. You wont miss them Most video games are pattern-based which can get boring compared to pinball which is random. And as a result I stopped playing classic video games for the most part. I have a full size Asteroids and a cabaret Monaco GP that I won't sell.

For those looking for hotels you can still find rooms at: Marriott Courtyard (across the street from the event - https://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/pitcy-courtyard-pittsburgh-downtown/) for $239/nt or the Kimpton Monaco (very nice hotel a few blocks away but still closer than the Omni - http://www.monaco-pittsburgh.com/) for $218/nt. Not quite as cheap as the room block but both are closer and good (or very nice in the case of Kimpton) hotels.
