  I'm hearing John Wick in the next 3 weeks as Stern's final spike 2 machine, and John Borg's all new Metallica machine revealed just in time for Expo October 2024. We shall see. If Stern follows their previous release rhythm we are due a new cornerstone pin around 18 May (+/- 3 weeks). I expect it will come a little sooner than 18 May and have my money on the week of 5-11 May.

  i think i may go with metallica i love music pins or look into pulp fiction and my dealer has a twlight zone he also has an elvira limtied special edition not the blood red one ; i found elvira kinda boring but not into monster themes maybe i could give it another chance it has low plays but he wants like 10.5 for it i would ideally like to spend 7-10

  Venom is okay. I loved it at first and then got bored. I’d look for something that’s just fun to play. Pulp Fiction, Tron, or Metallica would fit nicely with what you have.

  A new designer would be interesting but odd that we aren't aware of who that could be. I was looking through Borg's pinball history, and while I'm sure this is a controversial opinion I feel like he hasn't made enough hits to warrant his continued like clockwork place as a designer.   Ouch. I could see blaming Borg on possibly recycling an old layout but Metallica is a pretty good layout imo. Personally i'm just hoping for a Metallica re-release with the same layout but with some extra code goodies and spike upgrade. I'm thinking it will be similar to Jurassic Anniversary edition (without the LE). They already remade the Metallica layout it’s called Guardians of the Galaxy. Time for a new layout

  Blistering version of Funeral/Love by Metallica at Elton John tribute. I wish there was more of this song in the game. My favorite EJ song feels kinda wasted on the snippets in the game. Its a great feeling to reach one of the Stages and hear pieces of the song, but it leaves me missing the whole thing. Would love that in a new Metallica pin

  so i just did the following custom songs for mine that you guys may dig: Rug Mode 5 (Walter See What Happens) -Black Betty -Cherry Bomb Rug Mode 6 (Donny) -Dust in the Wind -Free Bird I was thinking of what to do for rug mode 1. Now, The Dude was a roadie for metallica. So would it not stand to reason he'd dig some metallica songs from the 80s? that might be a good spot for one!

  -Every single Stern made after Metallica except for Aerosmith, LEDZep, and AIQ... I don't even like those enough to play them. -Toy Story -Wonka Oh, and X Files is one of the greatest sci-fi TV shows ever made up to that point in TV history BUT... the pinball is not just normal bad. It's like VERY-VERY-next level awful. It could very well be tied with SF II as "worst DMD machine of all time". I would not compare it to TOM either... that game and TOTAN are fairly awful in their own right.

  Funny, I'm not swearing on buying this game just because it's Metallica? I bought mine because it was the best game I had ever played at the time. The Metallica theme was a nice bonus. I became a fan after getting the game. For me it's the art and layout that made it work and not the band title.

  If they do Metallica, I'm asking nicely for another run of AC/DC because I really miss my Pro.... Stern experimented with and built six Spike 1 AC/DC machines, so maybe another run perhaps on Spike 3? If so, I'm in for an "It's A Long Way To The Top" SLE to sit next to the new Metallica!

  I just received mine and it's gonna fit perfectly between the right ramp loop, Where I was hoping it would go. I need to paint it up and maybe replace. These spikes with will metal spikes to match the custom hammer. Obviously it's sitting on the glass now, but it's gonna fit perfectl where I end up putting it and look great.   Uh no, GnR set the bar for the industry. Rush has 16 too. Yes, those other music pins are also amazing. I’m just saying Zeppelin got shorted with a measly 10 songs and half of them are mediocre songs at best. Hoping someone can Pinbrowser mod Zeppelin to play another dozen songs in jukebox mode. Same with AC/DC, Aerosmith, Metallica and other music pins. Not sure how many songs the game’s storage could accommodate though

  FYI, jaws is only displayed as #1 because the main list only displays Approved Raters, and new ratings in the last 12 months. If you go into Custom tab, it will show Iron maiden as #1 when including All Ratings, and then Metallica as #1 if you also include Approved Raters only.   I’d put it on par with Metallica, which is No. 14 on Pinside - has a similar complexity ruleset, similar quality artwork/mechs and similarly good flow. At present, the main songs (associated with modes and multiballs) are: Overkill Iron fist Ace of spades Killed by death Bomber Motörhead Snaggletooth Orgasmatron (mini Wizard) We are the road crew (final Wizard) Ideally I would like more songs (including some newer ones) which you would choose at a menu at startup - like Metallica has.
