I had one of these. It's an interesting theme. Too bad it's missing the matching La Retata BG. They are still available from Germany but the cost including shipping is expensive. GLWTS

I also think you should keep it as La Retata for the rarity. I have the flyer for it but it's in German but it has some English. Original price for the kit seems to be about $650 https://nypinball.com/flyers/la-retata/

... there, earlier this summer I picked up a High Speed table that was partially converted to the La Retata spec. (More details here, if you're unfamiliar: https://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id ... =4440&picno=34530) It has the La Retata playfield and plastics, but not the backglass. All in surprisingly good shape. The cab in solid, the paint is average. The displays are good. The original backglass isn't the best but translites are available. I do have some images that another La Retata owner emailed to me. Someone knowledgeable enough could probably have a translite printed from them.[att=6136772,2311331 caption=""]

Ive built several Geiger conversions, its really fun doing them. as for changing the words, to me that is pointless, part of the geiger conversions is the fact that they are quirky. La Retata is a perfect example, what the hell does robocop and dragnet movies have in common Ive built La Retata and Miss World. they are both right by each other again now that Miss World returned to me
