King Tut's not a bad game, not on anyone's top 10 list or anything, but spelling out K I N G T U T and getting the specials lit is hard enough to keep you coming back for more. If I had to compare it to a Gottlieb I guess I'd rank it about the same as Flying Carpet.

So what's your strat to drive up the score like that? I had a killer game with villain escape, Batusi, and one final shot to start villain escape again, and I end up at like 6.5B. That kind of score needs frozen timers and big multipliers on shots and playfield. King Tut also helps by adding an additional multiplier to the main channel.

There's at least one thing missing that I thought would be in this update and it isn't. That would be the minor villain insert colors being tweaked so ones like King Tut are not white and get confused with Catwoman white inserts if both modes are running at the same time. Rob

Lyman said they were only going to have the Otto Preminger version of Mr Freeze in the game. So that's why he he just has the single selection as a minor villain in season 2. King Tut is in the game a lot because he was in lot of episodes and he was in all three seasons. Not a bad thing, since Tut has some of the funniest villain quotes in the show.

I thought I recognized some items in there that I wrote earlier in this thread. I think extra minors and content will be harder, focus must be now on gameplay, balancing, rules, light effects.. LIke the villain escape game light show is really impressive... can't wait for more to come :) With bookworm now being easier, I start to play it to carryover my minor benefits ball to ball and try to kick in mr freeze and king tut (and mad hatter). How a simple change can balance the strategy.

Defeating King Tut (saves minor villain progress) and Mad Hatter (allows replays of minor villains) before starting Bookworm might be the way to go. That way you can beat Bookworm over several goes. That’s assuming that defeating King Tut allows you to continue Bookworm from where you last drained.

The Robin Holy Multiball is awesome. It plays random quotes of Robin saying "Holy " for each of the lit jackpots. Also noticed that the added Tut episodes (King Tut's Coup/Batman's Waterloo) are the ones that feature Lee Meriweather in them and she is in the clips that play during that mode. She played Catwoman in the 1966 Batman movie so now we have all 3 catwomen in the game.

And bookworm would have locked your timers for the rest of the game. Completing King Tut keeps progress in a mode Completing mad hatter let's you replay them But going as high as 5x playfield is a bit too much I think, maxing out at 3x would be better. Because x5 & x2 = x10 on shots ALL the time when you have freeze completed.

I’m getting a lot of extra villain high scores Like say , Shame 59/60, catwoman 29/30 etc, and then a normal one of each too. Is this a setting? No, it's a highscore per minor villain mode (some 2 of each like shame, king tut, ...), and then a high score per major villain mode (2 of each) If set my default high scores for the minors to 25M than did a high score reset. I doubt king tuts will go higher than 100M.

How does the egghead mode work now? Do you have to complete the bat gadget target bank and then make one shot? I played batusi multiball today and yes I can confirm seeing Batman doing the Batusi :) A bit hard now as you must complete the king tut for season 3 otherwise it's lost (you have to complete all of the minors otherwise). King tut sure has funny modes, with the music, being launched from his car, etc...
