Stern Uncanny X-men 2024 HYPE thread . Jack Danger's newest game! Post #1491 in topic

Posted 4 days ago by delt31 – in Stern Pinball ‐ Last reply today

Damn this pro is so loaded that I’m actually considering it since the price is much more reasonable and the potential for loss is so much less. I thought it didn’t have the magnetic ball lock on the return but it does. Basically for me the only thing lost here is the hands. And where is jubilee?

Gottlieb: Spring Break, Golden Arrow, Volley Williams: Big Ben, Darling/Jubilee Bally: Any 60’s machines with yellow score reels or early 70’s EM’s Let me know if you have any of these for sale and if you can bring to the show, I’ll be there early Thursday. Just PM me with details on the machines, thanks.

Williams Jubilee and Darling Game Manuals Post #1 in topic

Posted 75 days ago by dbto1970 – in EM Pinball Tech ‐ Last reply 74 days ago

I'm in the process of getting a 1973 Williams #darling-williams EM pin machine back to clean condition. I found the schematics online, but can only find the owners manual for a #jubilee-williams machine. I understand Jubilee is the 4-player version of Darling (2 player), but want to see if anyone knows how closely the Darling machine components follow the Jubilee manual. I'm sure there is maybe a second or modified player unit (maybe ball count too?). Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks

On the replay uni, find the horizontal mounted switches that will open when the gear pin pushes them open at zero credit position. You’ll probably find that a switch will be adjusted to be kept closed even at zero position. If the darling manual is like the jubilee manual, then the start and reset sequences are not listed, but still has lots of useful info.

Any comments/help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Just look at it as the universe providing balance for all the free pinball machines people have dropped on your doorstep. You're still way in the black, lifetime. Stern, JJP, CGC, Spooky and AP all with a cavalcade of free pinball machines for the VFW. Meanwhile, nobody will drop off a free Gay '90's, Travel Time or Darling/Jubilee....

Williams Jubilee bones reset intermittently skips Post #1 in topic

Posted over 2 years ago by kungfrau – in EM Pinball Tech ‐ Last reply over 2 years ago

On my 1973 #Jubilee machine, the bonus counts up perfectly every time. But when it resets to pay the bonus, it intermittently skips a tooth and consequently skips 1,000 points. If I watch the ratchet wheel on the back side of the spider up close, I can see the reset coil pull in like it should, but once in a great while the pawl will grab two teeth instead of one. Has anyone else experienced this?

I just don’t understand why someone would soemd the time and money to seek out and buy an A list game like funhouse or TOTAN and bastardize it in this fashion…at least BOP kind of makes sense. (Even if 2.0 blows) Like..:where’s the Buck Rogers or Jubilee 2.0 kits?!

How can I decipher the machines logic from the schematic? Post #14 in topic

Posted over 3 years ago by Skybug – in EM Pinball Tech ‐ Last reply over 2 years ago

I was recently introduced to Joe's Classic Video Games. I'm following all of his 1973 Williams Jubilee videos which are of the same era as yours. He covers various sections of the machine, from adjusting contacts to cleaning stepper units to paint touch up. And he shows you how to read schematics as well. https://youtu.be/Qo28CEYJQT4

I’ve had my SKX007 for a few years. (Might be a touch too big on my wrist, but the 013 is harder to find.) It originally came with a rubber dive strap, but I just recently put it on a jubilee bracelet. It’s got just the right amount of sportiness while still looking classy enough to wear to the office. Relay Leaf Missing Contact Post #1 in topic

I have a #jubilee-williams and one of the relay leaf blades is missing it's contact. Relay type M 29-1100. How do I fix this? I looked on Marco and they had many types of leaf blades but unsure which would fit. The pictures all showed leafs with a hole where the contact is supposed to be. Can I somehow add a contact to existing leaf? [att=6641205,2662412 caption=""]

Williams Darling 100, 1000 pt scoring and no chimes Post #5 in topic

Posted over 3 years ago by dr_nybble – in EM Pinball Tech ‐ Last reply over 3 years ago

The lock relay should always be energized. The chime circuit is simple. The chime is energized by a switch on the 100 or 1000 point relay. Move the relay by hand to the energized position with the machine off. Make sure all the switches change state. There is a manual for #Jubilee on ipdb.org, it shows the relays and all the switches. If the game has a score on the 100/1000 reels on startup does the score reset?

French movie LE SECRET from 1974 with a WILLIAMS JUBILEE. If you look closely you recognize the black surrounding for the 3rd-Player-digits, so it surely is a 4-Player JUBILEE and not the 2-Player DARLING. France was like Germany a 4-Player-Nation anyway. The actress is Marlene Jobert, and she's the mother of gorgeous Eva Green who played Verper Lynd in Casino Royale. [att=6348714,2460767 caption=""]

Extra bonus points if it comes with the inner separator trays. :) Am also looking for the LARGE arrow inserts (2 of them) that are in a Jubilee / Darling playfield under the captured balls. Can be in poor condition, cupped, etc - as long as they're whole and not cracked. :) Thanks guys!
