  Yes but I do not have a FF (yet)........ Ahhhhhh! Ok. :D Fun fact...you can play another game's code in any Stern machine. I loaded Jaws code on my James Bond just so I could check it out, listen to the music, sounds and callouts. And of course when making code mods, I test the Premium/LE code on my Pros.

  Not really. The crappy amplifier on the CPU board is the core issue. Even if you get awesome speakers, the amp on the CPU board is not up to powering them well, so sound quality only improves marginally. Thx. Can someone post the link to the best kit for jaws. Thx!

  Ok, some preliminary observations... 1) I need a PinMonk quiet fan ASAP! 2) I also need blue springs. 3) Jet pack isn't working right because the post doesn't go all the way down and it strips the ball off the magnet. I assume this will be an easy fix? About to lift the hood and see. 4) The enter your initials screen isn't nearly as cool as the one for Jaws.   Yep. Been playing upon return from trip. Confirming what I originally thought but wanted to make sure. I don’t have the sub and pinwoofers in yet but… It’s the best total package pin EVER. With the PF and flipper issues fixed I will consider JJP games 1st now. Wonka, GNR, GF and now EJ. A cut above the rest! Matrix and Harry Potter. I’m in. :) As great as Jaws is, EJ is next level

  Play your game dude. lol. And the flipper fans? No need anymore. Def not on JJP games. Want to waste $$ on Stern games? Don’t see it either. Oh sure, edit your post after I downvote you! I'm kind of happy about all the horrible themes being tossed about now. Pokémon, lol! After buying Jaws and now Bond and hopefully a LZ in the near future my pinball fund will be exhausted. I don't like JJPs as a general rule, but I will say EJ is their best that I've seen.

  I was torn between picking up a GTF at a great price do to all the issues since roll out and Jaws.After following along I'm leaning toward the premium....Although I guess I could grab GTF and should break even 6 months down the road and wait utnil some premiums hit the market. They still seem like they are just rolling off the line.

  So bounty hunt - I see many go for makko right off the bat. Any other strategy of not picking that one or with this code, it’s the one to go for? I realized that the mini flipper shot through the gate (directly across) allows you to light gear which is really helpful. Still figuring out my strategies but I actually go thresher first to setup the 2x jaws multiball. Usually collect it before I get the second jaws MB and that one is easy to progress through.

  Oh I will play it first, there just aren't any in our country yet I will say for me the repetitive callouts and sounds seem less of an issue while playing then watching. It’s one of the most immersive pins from stern mostly due to John Williams. But I’m a huge John Williams fan and I think Jaws is a great movie so I’m biased.

  It sounds like either your switch stack is not making good contact at the flipper button (look inside the cabinet with the playfield raised, and press the flipper then observe that BOTH layers of switch blades on the inside of the cabinet that the flipper button presses on are making strong contact - if not bend the backmost one in a little so it makes good contact when the button is fully pressed. Thx Pinmonk! Check it tomorrow. Sat nite playing pool n Foo, and Jaws at a disadvantage. Will report.

  The original sticker is really tough plastic and comes off and goes back on easily. I peel mine off and put them inside the coin door on the coin box in case I ever want to put it back on. And then I put the Space Coast Pinball magnet on the back box! The magnet stays down a little better without that thick sticker underneath it but either way works! I may have to try to get the stickers off again. I will still use the Jaws magnet.

  The code for EJ is only at .87 - I'm pretty sure it'll have a little more depth as the code matures. I think you have that backwards. EJ is 1.07. It is Jaws that is 0.87.

  I ordered both. Elton showed up and I decided to sell my jaws before I even opened it. Jaws is very good but, after playing it several times it just didn’t REEL me in. Haha Elton (if your good with the tunes ) has set a new bar for pinball. Imo.

  Recently I moved several games around, and at some point, messed up my upper back very badly. Happy that is better now. It was all worth it, for the space and money for the Jaws premium, that game is a whole lot of fun, and while I grow tired of callouts in most games pretty quickly, I really like the callouts in this game, so pretty sure I'll have it around for a long time, just like my The Walking Dead pro. Happy dance! :party:

  Tomorrow I have to confirm or not my LE. What do you suggest? This is a best title and game or is better to wait next title? It will maintain value? Stern Elwins hold value quite well. Only Sterns boutique/kapow releases hold value better. That said don't expect your money back in this market. They are all taking a hit these days. Jaws is the latest and greatest atm but in 2 years it won't be. It is what it is.

  For a game that you plan to own for over a year, Jaws is better due to depth and resale value. If you only plan to keep it for 6 months than EJ is better. After that the shine will quickly wear off since the code is shallow and you realize your $12k pin is only worth $9,500 and dropping The code for EJ is only at .87 - I'm pretty sure it'll have a little more depth as the code matures. EDIT -- I screwed that up. Jaws is .87. My bad!

  I want to like Jaws more than I do, and maybe some time on a premium will help 'cuz the pro is pretty lightweight. Don't have enough time on it to make a deeper assessment but there's no wow factor to it at all in early impressions. EJ, on the other hand, blew me away. Jesus there's a lot going on there, and it shoots like a dream. If it was Black Sabbath or Motorhead I think I'd sell a kidney for one.

  Let’s start with this 1st. An “all in” JAWS LE is going to be $16k just like FOO. So let’s quit pretending it’s some kind of bargain versus JJP. That said, owning em both I give them BOTH a 10! Jaws is the best Elwin pin to date, nudging out JP. EJ is a masterpiece of overall FUN and wow factor. 2 10’s baby :)
