Gifts for wife... Post #3 in topic

Posted 120 days ago by JustJared – in Generally off-topic ‐ Last reply 118 days ago

You do realize that Christmas is today, right? Maybe if you listed some of your wife’s interests or hobbies you would get better responses, but asking a bunch of guys what the best gift is for a wife is like asking a vegetarian where the best place to get a good steak is. Good point. I just thought of that. My anniversary is coming up in a week. I have some things but was looking for some more ideas. I thought the ideas may be fresh in people's heads.

Manual plunge. Auto plunge works great. Using Ninja chrome balls fwiw. Awhile back my plunges weren’t making it past the secret hideout, manual or auto. Gave it a little closer look and noticed I had a doppelgänger target that had jumped over the barrier when he had last swung back and it was just slightly catching the balls as they launched. Just a heads up to keep an eye out for that possibility. I’ve only had it happen once so far.

No need to replace. One of my spinners just needed a slight adjustment. It has been perfect for 2 years since then. Testing and machine oil on the pivots and the PB spinner would never sit vertical consistently. Wasn’t like it was binding in the frame either it was loose. Both spinners had the exact same behavior. Stern spinners act perfectly. If some owners can’t get their spinners to act properly, it is just a heads up that the Stern setup can be used in its place.

It already happened and prices are going even further down because games are not selling because there is a mass exodus and influx of inventory that people cannot sell. You can keep your blinders on, but don't come back to Pinside in 2024 complaining your games are worth half of what you paid for. I’m sitting here with my $6k waiting for the crash so I can get a MMr. Can’t wait. Thanks for the heads up. If it doesn’t happen, I’m charging you interest on this cash I’m saving.

I turned mine down quite a ways, and it still came out plenty hard.
