  Under what conditions does Haunted House knocker activate. I know it works as when I put it on test mode the solenoid will activate but I have not figured out how it activates when playing. Does it matter what mode the game is in Extra Ball vs Replay? Thanks!

  Hi Gang, Just joined the club w/a Prem a few days ago - what a blast. I noticed the ramp into the haunted house isn't sitting flush. I tried to search the thread to see if anyone had this problem - no luck. Apologies if I missed it, I just searched for it and all I saw was the white washer on the right ramp issue (I have the washer). Anyone else have this happen?   Thanks! They (ebay) just have the display plastics. Looking for the window plastic for the lower playing field I would get it from here: https://www.starship-fantasy.com/plastics/HAUNTED-HOUSE-Playfield-Window-Kit Years ago, CPR did one and it didn't fit so good. I would be fearful of getting a CPR one from any of the resellers since they are such a major player. If Starship - Fantasy says "it will fit"- it will fit. :-)

  WOZ has a crazy amount of mechs, cool molded toys like the witch, haunted tree pops and castle. 2 upper pfs. Spinning house toy. LCD crystal ball. Flying monkey. 2 innovative ball saves requiring skill to save your ball. I’ve owned WOZ twice and I always miss it when it’s gone! WOZ put JJP on the map and paved the way for healthy competition with Stern. WOZ was the pin that convinced me I needed to own a game…but just one. :o

  I'm not trying to slam any games. I know that a lot of us had to play whatever was in the wild back in the day. What machine did you pump quarters into that you played more recently and can't remember why you thought it was cool. For me I couldn't get enough Haunted House. I'm not saying it was a bad game but when I go to festivals I keep playing it and it's just kind of meh... I love the art and I use to think the lower playfield kicked ass but I just can't get into it now.

  On the Haunted House playfield, the holes cut into the new playfield aren't centered in the circles in the art. This is a minor flaw. On the side-view of the Quicksilver playfield (the green one), the printed artwork and clearcoat have come off the wood and have bunched up around the bottom of the slingshot post. This is a major problem with Mirco's products.

  @ChrisHibler I also have a Haunted House next to this BH that has a known working sound board. So I swapped ROMs and speech chip. The Black Hole board works in the HH! The HH board (known good) does the same thing in Black Hole. I get attract speech only whether the game is playing or not. My guess is not a sound board issue, but something else???

  I finally got all the boards, and fixed the switch matrix issues that had been haunting my caveman. So now I’m turning my attention to other issues, like the back box lights. Has anyone come up with a way to replace the 24v back glass lights with leds or at least normal 6v lamps? Coin Taker sells #313 LED’s that use the 28 volts. I have them in my Black Hole, Haunted House, and Caveman and they work great!

  Google won't help much in this case. Gottlieb's intellectual property holder has done it's best to cleanse all Gottlieb manuals from the internet so you have to purchase one from them. So you can't find them in the usual places (like IPDB). Oh my god. You PEOPLE. Literally google "Haunted House Gottlieb .pdf" and it brings up 5 separate sites that have PDFs of it.   This exact attract mode cycle would be excellent for HWN too. Have the ol’ creeping through the house footage come up with some eerie music have the topper stab one time like the game is f’n haunted. Yeah I don't recall the game doing any spontaneous sounds on it's own at all, unlike Sterns and Willams Bally. I know R&M after x amount of loops would play a video sequence if you had it enabled in the settings.

  Hi , Having just acquired a Haunted House pinball after years of searching for one here in Australia.I just want to see if anyone know what the proper leg sizes are? I'm sure its 27" front & 31" back but the guys i got it off supplied it with 27"/27" and reckons that is the correct sizes? i currently have some wood chocks under the back legs and the back legs definitely need to be 31" it seems...[att=6909602,2869997 caption=""]

  As a kid, the new pins I'd eagerly play anytime I saw them were Black Hole, Haunted House, and Eight Ball Deluxe. First time I bought my very own game: a Stern Pro, NiB for under $6k.

  I agree but rather have a Gangbusters, Big hit & Gemini. I'd love a Gangbusters or Haunted House. Had a Wild Kingdom in rough shape that I got for free, unfortunately I ended up having to gut it. Still have the Cracked glass and the gun.

  The displays should have a blue cover over them. Steve Young used to stock them, but no more. [att=6880834,2844262 caption=""] Maybe try some clear blue window tint from Amazon, directly on the display glass. Worked great for my Haunted House, which needed green.

  I don't have Haunted House schematics, but on Black Hole, the 313 lamps are on page 45 (playfields non-controlled solenoids and illumination) about 1/3 of the way down. Hopes that helps.

  Based on what is here and off the top of my head; Mills Official (1931) Cris-Cross A Lite (early electric) Bumper (scoring) Wms Torchy (PF electromagnets, 1947 or so) Gottlieb Knock Out (50's) Fireball (EM multiball) Black Hole ST:TNG Leaving out so may like Sinbad, Royal Flush, , Jigsaw, Haunted House, TAF, TZ..... One that belongs in there is New Contact which was the first with pop bumpers and of course Humpty Dumpty. Expand the list to 12 or more! ;^) Steve
