Don’t believe more rules equate to a better pin. Satisfying shots on the playfield are what make Richie games fun and credit to his team for making EJ more balanced without handing MB out like Halloween candy. Bottom line seems like most enjoy it and simply circle back to price.

Picking up a Halloween soon. I need something to tide me over while I wait for my TCM to arrive. Seems I am quickly becoming a Spooky fanboy. I’ve read about the code delays and the issues and I have to give credit to the company for digging deep and not letting the game fail. The code is much better now I hear but hopefully more to come? Any hints on what else is planned or how much more development we can expect? I can’t wait to turn out the lights, crank it up and Spook out with it!

I'll be honest, I'm a bit torn on a short cut to the Wizard Mode in Scooby-Doo. I have added them into Halloween and Ultraman; but those games also don't have a co-op option. With the co-op option it should be quite reachable for most. That said, it also doesn't really hurt to add it into the menu either. Vanity awards are planned ... actually they are already in the next update.

Depends. Is the foam and removal of the hood from the IJ mode hole a “mod”? I’d say that’s pretty damn critical, and yes it sure as hell affects gameplay. Same with the Halloween scoop mod, to a lesser extent. But other stuff that changes the game against what was intended? No

That is a good question. For a new Spooky buyer, why is there no mod market for non-Stern machines? I mean, a large chunk of Stern mods are 3D printed. The time is in the design but the rest is easy and cheap. Why not the same for other manufacturers? There were more than a couple Halloween mods around. But the real answer is probably less production numbers mean less audience, and it takes longer to get a Spooky machine so they don;t have the same amount of time to create stuff....maybe

Share your ideas on cool horror-themed pins. I think it’s great that we have several to choose from already (Halloween, Addams Family, Elvira, Creature from the Black Lagoon, etc.). But can you imagine one based on a John Carpenter film like The Thing? A Stephen King property like The Stand? Or, IMO, a game that would likely never be made but would kill it — Phantasm. Hey, it’s already got a flying silver ball central to the story!

Subwoofers in pins don’t exist. People mod them with subwoofers after market. None of them come with a sub from factory. Why? Because it is completely unnecessary. I’m pretty sure you have owned a few Spooky pins that came with subwoofers from the factory… Unnecessary, but sure is great for an elevated immersive experience… especially on Halloween and Rick & Morty.

Everytime a game leaves she says "that's the one I like so obviously it's leaving." Then I remind her that her "liking it" was racking up 3 plays a year. :kidding:

Congrats all you TCM fans - you guys trying to name the owners club has made me have to consider this one of the most quotable horror films of all time - what would be higher? Silence of Lambs? Aliens/Alien? Are those even really horror films? Evil Dead? The Thing? Halloween? I think TCM might be #1 in memorable quotes.

Just curious if anyone wants to trade a dud for a dud? My Halloween CE with a few mods (house mod, car mod, pumpkin leaves, wood decals on ramps) for their Avengers Infinity Quest Premium? Or LE with cash on my end? The kids are interested in this game now. Still like Halloween, but it's the next on the block. Maybe a deadpool or Venom to keep with the comic theme?

Please remember the non-pro players who don’t give a flying f about high scores. I appreciate great call outs (scared Stiff, MM, MB, CC) and unexpected behaviors (Halloween, Theatre of Magic). A great topper like Godfather CE and Blacknight Sword of Rage. Heck, who needs 4 player? Two or three is enough for 90% of us. I hate waiting on a 4th player. Think out of the box. TCM does look sweet in its present state… Good luck.

Found this little guy at the bottom of my Pro when I was installing a mod. Looks like a pin of some sort since it’s hollow. Any ideas where it’s from or if I should be worried? [quoted image][quoted image] Are all your flippers working correctly? I don't know about Godzilla, but on my Halloween all of the flipper linkages use split pins for some of the pivot points and I've had some of those pins fall out of the linkage, thereby rendering the flipper broken. Just a thought.

For the value Spooky gives in their games compared to the other guys and you add in content, artwork, theme integration etc… It’s not just about supporting small company passion. They deserve major kudos getting to this point against the big boys. Bring on TCM! Heading out to update Halloween now. FUN times. :)

I stopped by Jailbreak brewing Thursday on my way down to Magfest. They gave up on their Lebowski citing that it was always broken. It’s been replaced by a well worn Stranger Things Premium with UV kit and volume at 0. Played well though. Their 3 other games are Star Wars (pro?), JJP GNR LE, and Halloween CE.
