I’m mostly a music pin guy, but if there was one movie themed pinball machine I’d like to own it would be The original Halloween. Looking forward to playing it next week and forming my own opinion - however I won’t come to an OWNERS thread and shit all over other peoples excitement saying the same thing over and over…Just shows lack of class.

Having one programmer working on two titles at the same time is surely going to limit the depth of code on both games unfortunately. And I’m sure Spooky won’t want to make one better than the other. Both are looking good to me I just hope the programmer stays interested over the next two years and both games become really fleshed out. Simple get 2 teams coding. 1300 Halloween 500 Ultraman x 9k = $16,000,000 ^^^ There is plenty of room to code both games properly and individually..

Horror movies can be one of the best ROI in the movie industry if they hit. Newline Cinema was built on the back of Nightmare on Elm Street Movies. Blumhouse Production has quickly become of the most profitable companies in the industry with their spray and pray approach of giving unknowns small budgets and some of them occasionally blowing up, like Paranormal Activity or The Purge. The Halloween movies are relatively large budget for what they normally do.

I’m interested too. Does anyone sell a spacer kit? I installed some on my rick and morty and it really helped my flipper power. Similarly on GnR it looks like the stock flippers r a little too high off the playfield. I wouldn't mess with that. Spooky only needs it on Rick and Morty, Halloween, Ultraman, etc because they made their playfields thinner (to save money?) and didn't completely consider the side effects of that decision.

Have you played both machines? I realize I'm biased (as is the rest of this thread being a HWN thread), but that's a terrible idea. I really enjoy Halloween kills. Much more like an old school Halloween movie although not as good as the original of course and there were things I def didn’t like about it but thank God they dropped the dumb humor. Not a fan of Michael fighting multiple people at once and prob the worst rendition of the main theme but I just loved the flashbacks to 1978 and brutal kills

Getting ready to stream Halloween Kills. Been looking forward to this one. Hoping Laurie isn’t called “grandmother” 50 times like she was in the last one. Found that so odd. All my buddies thought it sounded weird too - Who does that? Don’t most just say grandma!? Lol [att=6552003,2597523 caption=""]

I didnt like that the 2018 movie threw away all of Halloween II, but did think there were some redeemable parts in it. The bedroom closet scene was done well, but they even messed that part up a bit with the little kid. The Halloween story ended for me with number 2, which in my opinion, is how it should be. Anything after that I don’t even remember. Halloween 3 was interesting though!

I wish they would have another night of Magic Kingdom being open till midnight, that was amazing in September for Halloween.

I'm out of town, otherwise I would have shown a pic. If you can wait till Halloween, I can get a pic.

This is a bit misleading. He was all alone on RZ. He also did ACNC with the help of Bowen and that pin has fantastic code. I have the same optimism for UM/Halloween. Is Bowen helping on UM/Halloween as well? The man that did R&M code is one of the best coders I’ve seen in pinball. I hope they have him consulting or something as well on UM.
