  I confess, I've done a complete 180 on Gottlieb solid state games since I started collecting. I used to think they were all terrible, but I have seen the light over the last couple years. Currently have a Tag Team - 3 ball multiball with multipled playfield...has the opposite inlane to lit spinner as Alien Star for big points.   I found an option that does what you suggest. It’s called something like max tk balls lock. If you set it to 2, then it treats the 3rd lock as a virtual lock. I found the setting. Man, if I was near you I’d plant a big, sloppy kiss on your cheek. Or if this was Reddit I’d pull out my wallet and spend real money to give you some kind of gold star. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  Anyone looking for a project Flash Gordon? I've got one with a solid cabinet, great backglass, but a roached playfield. Game powers on at the moment and kinda plays, though a lot of rubbers are broken as are most of the drops. I've got a CPR gold playfield, new drops, all new star posts, new plastics, cliffy ramps and inlane guides. I just don't have the critical ingredient of time to do anything with it :)

  hate to break it to you but deadpool is pretty funny I love Simpsons Pinball Party for all the call-outs. Get at least one chuckle every game. And even if AFM, MM, MB, BKSOR, IM, South Park, Austin Powers, Galactic Tank Force and Elwin's Godzilla are not all "hee-haw funny" they do have humor that keeps things light.   They just released another Jurassic Park limited edition game. Before that is was Star Trek (kinda. Barely any differences). Before that I think it was AC/DC. Batman 66, Catwoman edition and Elvira 40th anniversary Star Wars Comic edition. Old remakes were Elvis Gold and LOTR Gold. There is plenty of president that Stern has made all kinds of special editions and remakes.

  Do the displays show correct score while playing? You could try resetting all adjustment values (push reset switch on MPU board at each adjustment step) and then set up new value with credit button. Gold star to you, I completely missed the starred statement in the manual that says can be quickly set to '00' by pressing S33 on the MPU assembly. I will go try that now.

  I just came upon a backglass for a 1942 flipperless pinball called, "Hit the Japs". It is a patriotic (for then) conversion kit from a 1940 Gottlieb "Gold Star". It does have some delamination but still looks pretty good, despite being incredibly politically incorrect today. If anyone as any input or information about this glass or the machine itself, I would love to hear it. I can post pics if someone is really interested, but let's just say it's somewhat offensive.
