Insert Decals for Gladiators needed! Post #1 in topic

Posted 55 days ago by Grusom – in Playfield restoration ‐ Last reply 22 days ago

Hi. Im renovating a Gladiators. Started to rebuild the missing gladiator between flippers, I decided to for various reasons to remove the mylar today. I have removed a lot of mylar, but this went totally west. Beside the 40 hours of touch up I really need a set of insert decals. I hope someone has made them! Hope to hear from anyone with passion for the Gladiators! Best Regards Grusom [att=6417373,2505285 caption=""][att=6417373,2505286 caption=""][att=6417373,2505287 caption=""]

It must be Gladiator Season. :-) My JK has been a blast to drive for the last six years or so -- hauled it fair share of pins too. And I just learned that the newish SW show on Disney+ with the American Gladiator female isn’t some sort of prequel.

I plan on buying my first Jeep, a Gladiator specifically. Does Jeep have "real" reliability problems, such as premature engine wear? Or anything beneath the chassis, really. A stiff ride is not what i consider a reliability problem. I buy the Jeep expecting that bumpy Safari adventure type feel. Can't speak for the Gladiator, but my Unlimiteds have performed well. Water pump went in my 2016 at 65k, which was too soon. But I could talk for hours on how shitty my wife's Explorers have been.

How much better are the 2018 and later Wranglers? All of the reviewers seem to rave about them. What do you guys think? What kind of context are you referring to? Better how vs what? Skip the 3.8L gen of the JK, unless you want to do a v8 swap. The 3.6l JK/U is pretty solid. Mine had a coolant smell which I hear is common with pin hole radiator leaks. But I got rid of mine for a truck :/ miss it. Anyone get a gladiator yet? Bed is 5' long so it "should" fit a pin, but I haven't heard.....

God no, DC = instant pass. I've always was a "Marvel" comic kid growing but I had a few DC favorites like Swamp Thing, Batman, Teen Titans so I'm open to the movies if they're good. I like the dark gritty take on super heroes. I don't know all the story lines with the Joker in the DC universe though. Of all the Joker portrayals, I didn't like Jered Leto's for some reason. JP has been nominated for an Oscar 3 times but never won. He was great in Gladiator and freaking phenomenal as Johnny Cash.

I have a 2107 Tacoma. I was at a Honda dealership yesterday and got a look at a ridgeline. The interior was for more upscale than the taco. I loved the under bed storage. As a big kayak fisherman, this feature would be awesome for storing gear. If it could be had with a 6ft bed, I'd give it serious consideration. I also got a look at the New gladiator. Had a sticker of 63k. Sorry, but no.

I read that, to kill time during some of the more complicated scene changes, Mr Xenomorph would wander around the darkened theater. Betcha that audience was on its toes. Ridley Scott wrote them a nice letter, suggested they do "Gladiator" next... https://deadline.com/2019/03/ridley-scott-alien-the-play-reaction-new-jersey-high-school-gladiator-1202584389/

Total Recall/Running Man Total Recall with LCD clips would be simply incredible. Get ur ass to Mars Multiball. :D The Running Man seems to be a film made for pinball. Each gladiator could a be a mini wizard mode, and again great footage. I would also love to see a new Robocop pin, based on 1 and 2. Maybe a Predator or Alien done by Stern so they actually happen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LazUZz3K6IY

I like movie themed pibs and some tv themed. I would like to see a harry potter, planet of the apes, or gladiator pin. Maybe a G.I. Joe Futurama or bobs burgers would be cool. I know there is 1 re-theme out there, but a legit Queen themed pin would be a killer (queen)

Super NES Zelda - Best Zelda experience hands down. Sorry Ocarina. Halo - First Halo, best Halo. Diablo 2 - ruined everything from High School and beyond. Killer Queen Arcade - current game that nobody has heard of, save for the 300 people that descended on Portland last weekend. Come for the game, stay for the peeps.

Just looking to start my collection with a solid machine. Looks like a pretty solid choice IMO. Always nice to deal with a local, forthcoming enthusiast -- who I'm sure would be delighted to help you on your first pin. Just gotta pull the trigger and don't look back. :-) I've spent quite some time on a Gladiator back in the day, and it was fun. As for the drop target, the ad said he was waiting to put together a parts order. Besides, replacing it will be a great way for the OP to get his feet wet!
