What are some ideas of pins that are $4k ish are fun to play, have great themes and hold their value. Opinions thanks. And if you have something and you're close to the Kingston On area let me know. There are no DMD games worth buying @ 4k. I'd recommend going 70s or 80s. I find my Genie to be just as fun as my 90s games, maybe more fun. At 1200 bucks, it was an absolute steal.

The Great Pinball Price Crash Post #1008 in topic

Posted 102 days ago by ralphwiggum – in Buying and selling advice ‐ Last reply 8 days ago

I recently sold a Genie and a Solar City on here in 30 minutes. Every machine I sell, sells in under a day. No tire kickers, unusual requests, etc. just easy transactions. It’s really not a secret, price something fairly, and it moves quickly. That hasn’t changed over the years. This market is correcting itself really quickly. You can hang onto games longer and deal with all the crap that comes with that, or you can lower the prices and chase the next one.

The Konami code gives both players 30 lives. You also still have the three continues so the lives add up when you use the continues. Freaking great game. I love this game, but the only way I can play it is with the game genie.

Well at least the bolts appear to line up! But yeah Genie is a wide body and Solar Ride is standard. The head is actually supposed to overhang the edges by an inch or two on either side. But hey, it's as true in pinball as it is in life: any head is better than no head. I say roll with it until some day you manage to find a widebody head.

Bought this Solar Ride head to finish my Genie project. It seems to be a bit too small. I guess ... Hopefully the backglass fits inside this head. Can anyone confirm the exact size of a Genie backglass? [quoted image][quoted image] I feel kinda bad now... I can't believe ... difference. I would not have guessed that. If you manage to get a Genie glass and its different you may be able to route the door opening out ... cheap and just be the guy with the goofy Genie with the wrong head. It could be a conversation piece.

Just added a couple of FS adds if anyone in the area has any interest. Genie and Solar City are tentatively spoken for. If anything changes, I will update my post. Thanks everyone! Hey fun fact. Did you know Genie's cabinet is larger than a normal system 1 cabinet? Did you also know, you can fit a Genie cabinet into a 2004 pontiac gran prix? Welp, you have to remove most of the car door hardware, but it can be done.

Just got out of Five Nights at Freddy's with my daughter. No pics since at theater, but there were six pinball machines frequently shown in the background, in two banks of three. One bank was (left to right) was Jumping Jack, Jacks Open, and Card Whiz. The other bank (left to right) was Genie, couldn't catch the middle one, and Royal Flush.
