I have a Foxy lady cocktail pin that my step-daughters father, he passed away 20 years ago, gave her many-many-many years ago that doesn't work. I wanted to see if there was someone repairing the boards or making new boards for these machines. The machine is in really nice shape and powers on, at least it did 5 years ago when I last plugged it in. I wanted to get it running for her sake. Any thoughts, suggestions or help would be appreciated.

I didn't think he maked these boards anymore. Should also be a direct replacement for Foxy Lady, Camel Lights, Black Velvet, Chuck-a-luck, as they just have different art packages. You may want to link this add to all those games in case someone does a search. They are pretty obscure and these boards are tough to track down. Jim did board work for me some time ago, and I just got the cocktail put back together last week.

Here are some pics of my foxy lady. The MPU was completely trashed I had it sit in vinegar for a whole week until everything was cleaned up. All ICs were desoldered and socketed, resets circuit is all original and unmodded. Turned out only 2 pins had to have bridges soldered to them other than that it worked. But hey at least no more corrosion and some newer parts. Plays like a charm and looks as good as new. [att=4445221,1296807 caption=""][att=4445221,1296808 caption=""]

@scarybeard, I'm watching this thread and I wish you the best of luck! I have a Foxy Lady that I bought from an estate sale years ago that doesn't work, has never worked (lesson learned: never buy a game you can't play, no matter if some choad at the sale wants to try to start a bidding war with you for it), and is either going to turn into a re-theme like you're doing, or a very expensive coffee table.

maybe so, but what good did it do. You have a really expensive coffee table that is useless. Just to shut people the fawk up. My Foxy Lady is a really expensive, useless coffee table. Magic Girl at least powers up and flips a ball around (a badly designed playfield).

I would pass on a non working foxy lady, not worth investing the time and money in my opinion. I see them sold for only couple hundred on CL in working condition. They can also be a major pain to fix. It is better to pick a project machine that is more common. That way you have more people in the hobby that can help and more access to parts.

Baby Pacman has a small playfield. What about the cocktail pinball machines from Game Plan and Allied Leisure? Those have small playfields. I have a #star-shooter that I love! I think cocktail pins are totally overrated. May be picking up a #foxy-lady soon too. Parts can be a bother. Going to probably wait several month for a new MPU for the Foxy.

Should I put it in the oven? Post #1 in topic

Posted over 6 years ago by Rascal_H – in Restoration questions ‐ Last reply over 6 years ago

This Foxy Lady cocktail pin has a plastic apron that had a bit of a warp in it. Think the low oven trick would work for flattening it out? Maybe stick between some sheets of glass when heated a bit? I've had success using the method for smaller playfield plastics but nothing this big. Thanks. [att=2746157,573581 caption="image.jpeg"]
