I was also worried the FDM accuracy, and maybe resin would be better (and look cleaner). Perhaps the insert could be resin, and rollover itself could be FDM for durability. Steve Young @ PBR no longer sells rhe rollover insert? Odd since many Goytlieb era games used a similar rollover insert? I had a Gottlieb Flipper Parade that used this style and was able to buy that rollerover. Buy I do trust PBR's knowledge.

Posted over 4 years ago by Battlebugs – in EM Pinball Tech ‐ Last reply over 4 years ago

While replacing bulbs for a recently purchased Flipper Parade I found that it appears four of the sockets were never installed/wired (the lights for the lower left cutie on the back glass). Any thoughts on why this occurred? Last machine off the line late on a Friday?[att=5497624,1905197 caption=""]

If you have one of those wires where the solder just let go, you may very well have others. I had to re-solder approx. 16 connections on my Flipper Parade. I think they got some Russian solder cheap. It was unbelievable. Looking at TA again, I see that the line to those lites goes thru a NO Tilt Hold relay sw. (H) before going thru a NC sw. on the score motor.

That looks really nice, and I would let it be. I've had mostly very good results with clear coating, but twice it backfired in a very bad way and now I'm very hesitant to do it again unless absolutely necessary. One backfire was a near-pristine Williams Fun-Fest, which, even though I've since sold the machine, still bothers me. The other my Gottlieb Flipper Parade, where some formerly ok areas went south afterwards. I had to remove a bulb on that one (right majorette's face) so it didn't stand out so much.

Where can I buy these old EM post screws?! Post #1 in topic

Does anyone know where I might find replacements for the screws that Gottlieb used to hold plastic play filed posts in? I have put them in the tumbler and all this has done is reveal a brass or copper colour which I'm guessing was used as a base plate. [att=4284326,1216553 caption="IMG_1185 (resized).PNG"]
