  Hi, All the displays on my Farfalla went dead, everything else works as it should. Power coming from the transformer is fine. On the power board TP1 only reads 8.05 volt when it should have 165 volt. All other TPs show the expected voltage. I checked the back for cracked solder. A few looked suspicious and I re-soldered but that didn't help. Anybody good with board repair? Anything that I could do to fix? Any ideas? Thanks Mike

  Picked up this rare title at an auction. Although, it has a Farfalla backglass instead of #magic-castle for some reason. It also came with $7 in quarters in the coin box.   Ok I've owned a Farfalla and sold it.. Not that I didn't like it - not sure why actually, space maybe at the time... Thinking it's time to add another... Before just going after another Farfalla - I wanted to get some opinions on other Zaccarias... Interested in gameplay, toys, or features mostly.   yes, but would only work for devil riders and farfalla. You could do it for soccer kings but there wouldn't be any sound. Why wouldn't there be any sound for soccer kings. The one in the ad has a sound board. Simply swap that in as well when swapping the mpu roms. Looks like the Farfalla/Devil Riders sound board might be backwards compatible to the soccer kings board. Looks to be the same sound generation with an unpopulated section for further improvements that never came.

  Note to any interested parties in this game. I will have a populated complete Farfalla pf that I will eventually sell as well as a Devil riders complete game with battery roached boards in a rough cabinet and missing the backglass and neon. Soccer Kings uses the same board set so you might be able to swap all 3 games back and forth into the same cabinet just by switching the ROMS. Wish this was on the west coast as I'd probably pick it up myself for just that type of project.

  I’m trying to figure out how to set my Farfalla to 50 cents per credit and I just can’t seem to figure it out. I’ve changed the settings by using switch 4 and it’s just stuck at 25 cents per game no matter what I do. Any ideas anyone?

  I need some help. I bought new Caps for my Farfalla. I removed the old 16v 10000uf cap and realized it has 4 posts not like the usual 2 post caps.   Had a good time at the show, mostly meeting old and new friends, brought 3 pins, sold 1 was disappointed in the low amount of pins for sale, felt it was hard to see on the cards if the were for sale also. I felt the points system was very slanted, how my Farfalla only got 1 point for what I consider a rare pin was puzzling as my Vegas got 2 points??? Blew off the EBL , was allowed in after 10 but by then I was wiped out. Still a great show, great time

  My Farfalla has stopped working today. Keeps blowing f2 5amp solenoid fuse and all control lamps are permantley on! Also player 2 display is out , as well. It use to blow the 5amp fuse intermittently, but now blow immediatley on boot up. Possibly transistor or coil problem. But the control lamps all on permanently seems to be a new problem.

  there an option to turn off that stupid “tweet your score” qr code Unfortunately no. But it's not a big deal I rarely notice it. If the wife is interested in pinball, get the WOZ. In my opinion it's a better game. Who knows when the code will be finished on the hobbit. If ever. @pinballgoddess loves her WOZ and plays it every day. She has little interest in my Hobbit. The games she likes are IJ, Farfalla and WOZ.

  My top 3 favs are Zankor Robot Locomotion (who am I kidding, now I have to go down the list in order) Pinball champ Soccer Kings Clown Spooky Magic castle Farfalla Pool champion Time Machine Scramble Devil riders Blackbelt Stars Phoenix I have never played mexico 86 yet, so I can't say. It's the only Gen 2 I don't own, or ever played. Only Gen 1 I have played is Locomotion. Not including the EM's in this list.

  BUmmer? No that's a feature. You play the full game and n your last ball you build a bonus time, then when you drain the last ball you get a bonus ball to play for the amount of time that you built. Really cool feature of all generation 2 Zachariah games. It was fun to play soccer kings, time machine and farfalla at the show. Thanks to whoever brought the games! Loved seeing Farfalla at the show. Never played one and enjoyed playing it. The timer killing it off during play was a bummer.

  I have a bunch of interesting parts I can bring to the show if anyone needs them. Still not sure what game I'll bring though. The parts include: -Pair of Tron ramps (like new... removed and replaced with LE ramps when I did the fiber optic lighting mod) -Set of new clear repro ramps for Genesis -Various used but very nice parts for Zaccaria FARFALLA. I have the upper lucite playfield, pop bumper assemblies with caps and a few other bits and pieces I'll dig around and see what else I can find.

  The show in Ann Arbor in May has the most awesome Zaccaria collection I have ever seen. Robot, Locomotion, Farfalla, Pinball Champ 82, Star's Phoenix, ... That's one of the many reasons I always try to make the long way to Michigan.

  I agree with some of the no-brainers (Fathom, Centaur, Farfalla..etc.) but some of the suggestions are too 'loud' IMO to be considered best looking. I'll probably get crucified for this, but to me there's nothing like it... I could look at a Fire all day. Just super classy, simplistic yet beautiful cab, really unique BG, and an awesome 'world under glass' PF with the awesome flame effect.   I have an issue with my Farfalla. When I bought it the displays were working correctly but now the upper left one is showing 11111111 when I start it up. Switch hits will just add to the value going from 111111111 to 111111311 etc. When I go into the display diagnostics is goes from 1111111 to 333333 to 55555 777777 9999999 but skips the even ones. All the other displays work fine.

  Any one have a link or part numbers to the trim and lift channels that work best in Farfalla and Time Machine? Both games did not have the plastic trim and both had rusted lift channels.

  Not much actually. An early Zaccaria as before the gen 1 board set. Hard to fix and and no parts available. I recall in 2008 a bunch of these were brought to the USA in a container and we're practically given away with the purchase of another container game like farfalla,pinball champ, etc. I played a working one once when I had a collection of zacs. It was ok, but nothing special.

  What the hell is an acceptable compression spring to use for Farfalla flippers? The only ones I have keep sliding over the edge of the flipper linkage, wrapping around the backside, and not letting the flipper return. It's been pissing me off for months, I've asked several times for CONRETE INFORMATION like part numbers, and as of yet, nobody has been arsed to share this info. Some *actual info* would me MUCH APPRECIATED.

  One, that's blackmail. Two Zaccaria's are really nice. One of our local collector's has a Time Machine and a Pinball Champ. The playfields on those look perfect still. Fun games too. I'll second this; they did a nice job on it and it's quite fun. I just play it on my PC, I don't have a VP cabinet or anything. We actually have 2 at our club, farfalla and time machine. They really have their own charm and style :)

  I'd never played a Zacc before I bought it? :) My wife pointed it out years ago for the art, and I really like having oddball games, but Farfalla's a perfect storm of all three things I like in games at home: Wierd, Art, Drop targets. I'm still annoyed that it didn't cooperate much during the show, moreso than it breaking a plastic. I was going to not bring it back next year.....now I kind of feel obligated to, assuming I don't have to sell it for cash between now and then. =P

  Just wanted to say that the Farfalla at TPF was mine. That thing was a bitch all weekend! I had to fix a ball hang ... we did a 1980s Pinball Tournament based on Pinside seeding and in our "Other" manufacturer category Farfalla was the only Zarccaria to make it into the list of 16).
