AIW should definitely be made. IMHO, a terrific theme for pinball. True fantasy/make believe with global recognition. Public domain IP, open to interpretation. Good Alice/whimsical or bad Alice/dark. Disney/Burton. A plethora of familiar and wacky characters. Multiple scene locations. Lots of integration potential. The end product [art and layout] may actually be far removed from JPOP and ZY earlier version. I don't understand how anyone's opinion could be... [att=8099795,3833304 caption=""]

Oh cool. Alice in Wonderland! Maybe that will pave the way for Bambi, Cinderella and The Little Mermaid. You have to think what are other impactful fantasy themes, I think only Cinderella in that list has impact but seems like a boring theme. Peter Pan, maybe Pinocchio, obv ones like Harry Potter but at this stage I think most major fantasy themes have been done. Time for rehashes? We will likely start seeing new games to themes that already have games.

At this point companies likely need to ship top tier themes: Beetlejuice, Pokémon, Harry Potter, Back to the Future, The Matrix, Super Mario, Sonic, a new Batman, Bladerunner, Dune, any other big sci-fi or fantasy themes that haven’t been done… How many mid tier themes can the market absorb?

While drafting both Caleb Williams and Marvin Harrison Jr. is most likely a fantasy for the Bears, Williams and either Rome Odunze or Malik Nabers is definitely a possibility.

We both know it will go for way more than that. I should have bought on at an similar auction years ago when one did go for slightly >$1000. Actually more curious as to the condition of the Time Fantasy up for auction (no photos posted yet) As Time Fantasy is a much better game, whereas the novelty of the VARKON wears off quickly.

I could deal with a $500 to $1K loss and chalk it up to paying to play, and maybe one game would go up in value here or there. What you are talking about here is being PAID to buy and hold this machine for a year or two then sell it for profit? If that is what the hobby meant to you, yeah that was a fantasy land.
