Those look very much like mine on "fine" whatever that is in the settings. As I was saying to fandango privately, I could draw that cube and print it and it would be razor smooth, I print things all day, well WE print things all day that we have drawn, not just pinball stuff, that are almost injection-molded looking, really smooth and production quality, and that cube just brings out the worst. It's interesting.

I printed those samples for them, both in regular .2 and also in fine, the ringing and general look like dog shit is still there on mine, but I can turn around and print our parts, or really any widget with almost no lines at all...so I think that specific part really brings it out, but there is no question mine were similar to Fandango's, probably a little better, but still unacceptable. No wonder you're frustrated- that's about the worst ringing I've seen.

No revolver in sight. https://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Pulp_Fiction good job matching up the font. Not sure the word pinball is necessary? also the characters used different guns, one was a 1911 and the other a revolver. Little details depending how crazy you want to go on it. lol looks good!

Nosferatu pin?? Anyone? Post #13 in topic

Posted over 8 years ago by Colsond3 – in Pinball machines wanted ‐ Last reply over 8 years ago

If U're looking for vampires and horror pins, U should look at Spanish stuff Are those backglasses you have, or just ones you've come across? I'd like to get both of those games, or at least the backglasses if they're around. Both Mr. Doom and Mephisto look awesome!! For Spanish games sadly I can say I've only had a Playmatic Fandango before. The PF is well manufactured on that pin, but all in all a pretty horrific pin, and not the horrific I'm looking for. :shifty:

A Fandango (http://ipdb.org/search.pl?any=fandango&search=Search+Database&searchtype=quick#818) just came up, looks like it's in great shape, except it's painted powder blue again... (I guess we have a local powder blue cabinet painter over here - maybe a new arch-nemesis for me!) I don't care for the brand, the theme or anything about it and maybe would use that as my retheme candidate. Would you guys resent me if I did? Is my Gottlieb chauvinism making me unduly disrespect this Playmatic machine?

Portal Pinball? Post #11 in topic

Posted over 9 years ago by pezpunk – in All Pinball ‐ Last reply over 9 years ago

Portal absolutely blew my mind when I played the first one. Portal 2 was even better with the Co-op mode. Hopefully there is a portal 3 in the works. SO MUCH FUN. yep both Portal and Portal 2 are up there for best game ever for me. (along with Grim Fandango, Shadow of the Colossus, Civilization 2, aaand i dunno, let's say StarCraft.) GladOS is definitely my all-time favorite villain. JK Simmons as Cave Johnson was just plain brilliant as well. and of course Stephen Merchant was hilarious as Wheatley.

recent arrival, 1976 playmatic "fandango" (made in spain) got it working great. a few tweaks left and have to repaint the cabinet. it's a horrible cream yellow latex at the moment. plays fast, looks like new due to their plastic playfield coating. [att=2126317,457576]
