  Doing my first tear down of an El Dorado I picked up a couple months ago. I found this little brass pin under the mylar of the lower pop bumper. It is part number 23 in the El Dorado user manual, and says specifcally 'Under Mylar'. What is it's function? I can see this location as a possible place the ball could get hung up.   Vid. Since we're talking about temp rails, I'm going to let my Wade Krause El Dorado playfield cure for 6 months before doing anything with it. Is laying it flat for 6 months ok or does it need side rails to prevent possible warping. Thanks.

  Picked up my LE yesterday from a very nice seller.I was able to play his El Dorado and flip a card while picking up.I installed Diddys Tesla towers they look great and I enjoyed doing the installation.

  $3200 for e.m is pretty steep? This paticular El Dorado has been listen and relisted for the past year. And only 1 mediocre pix? Would gold or lucky strike demand a hefty premium like El Dorado? Never seen one listed in Canada

  Hello *Guard*, thanks for selling me your Jacks open. I'm happy with the purchase and the price was more then fair. But I'm noticing some incredible markups on Kijiji. El Dorado $3200 with one dark dingy pix? Card whiz $2400 and it's been listed & relisted a bazillion times. I went to go see a big hit last night(amazing condition) but felt the price is to steep!   Once 20+ people "sign up" for a pf he will get it scheduled. Currently El dorado just shipped, next Gottlieb Wizard (a retheme) then Strange World, Sing Along and Surfer/SurfChamp. If one of those (other than Wizard) is a gotta have then contact Wade and send him a check. He doesnt seek deposits ahead of time but he doesnt turn them down either. If you want a Wizard (search for Abra AAB thread) I have 6 out of 25 left in the pre-order phase. Ken

  Surprised nobody had College Queens on their list, probably the most consistently fun em for me, true sleeper, once anyone plays it it becomes a favorite. I don't own it, or Airport, but it's top 5 for sure 4 million BC El Dorado Boomerang Pop a card

  Good move. Target Alpha is Gottlieb's most horrible EM beast. Much too common. A yawner to play. Yes, same playfield layout as "Gold Strike" and "El Dorado", but that's where the similarity ends. "Canada Dry" is the same game (unfortunately) but has nice artwork.

I would recommend El Dorado (or it's twins... knock down 15 standups), or sure shot (roll over all the targets ... ) with honorable mentions Jurassic Park and Deadpool 2. The skinny heads included: Super Orbit Royal Flush Deluxe Amazon Hunt Rack Em’ Up Jacks To Open Alien Star The Games Touchdown El Dorado: City of Gold Ice Fever The head can be vacated.   Good e.m games are getting harder to find such as kinpin/pin up. Gold strike, luck hand, jacks open, big hit, Atlantis, El dorado, centigrade 37??? Strange world is very expensive as with El dorado. Not sure if it's worth what are currently going for. I guess they are being hoarded for the upcoming extension & possibly more lockdowns of this stupid corona

  I've only ever had one, and that was Gottilieb's El Dorado. 15 drop targets I think and a very replayable game. I think sure shot is a close second as ... seen the best deals on wedgeheads at... the York and Allentown shows. When I sold my El Dorado, I had it marked down to $1200 at the York show and it didn't sell, whereas ...

  Started with 13 ended with 5 and it feels great. What left: Fathom Baywatch BSD Flash Gordon RBION Deadpool Pro Congo Elvira HOH Prem El Dorado moved to Florida Student loan debt is gone and I got a new roof. I am really thankful that Mpls has such great locations to play.

  Just exchanged emails with Wade, he feels that Wizard pieces will be done by mid Feb. He ran into issues with the clear on El Dorado which held him up a month or 2. (El D should be shipping real soon!) And just picked up my 8th and 9th TeamOnes. With 6 presold I have 3 available. For a production run of only ~600 they certainly seem plentiful. Setting aside 3 kits for these games Im down to only 7 kits left! Ken

  Hi all, I have a Shadow that I could put up for trade. Some titles I would be interested in…. Interested in EMs like Atlantis, el dorado, would need to be in great condition as I know nothing about working on them.   Wait they don’t have a proper original Taito Space Invaders? Just the midway versions?? I’ve got a Taito, but everyone I’ve contacted to fix the boards have outright declined.   What's the deal with Gottlieb 31 inch legs? Picked up a game that could really use a new set and no suppliers seem to have 31 inch legs. PBR has 31 inch, but only in white, which would look terrible on my new El Dorado. No one else seems to have any. Yes, I have seen the ones on Ebay, and really don't want to pay $120 for a set.

  Had a customer bring in 2 Gottlieb Touchdowns, one complete and another parts. He wanted to know how much it'd be to get one working and shopped out. Well, he didn't care for the quote and decided to leave the machines in my hands in exchange for waving the diagnostic fee.   El dorado now marked down to $1400. Match numbers in backglass have gotten flakey after days of play. I have $1500 offers in Maryland so if it doesn't go at this price I'll take her home.
