I played and almost finished Skyward Sword. The problem for me was the boss battles with motion control were just too frustrating. I made it to the last one, I think, and finally gave up. It reminded me of Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future from Dreamcast. Another game that has maddening controls, fighting controls is a sign of bad execution no matter how good the story. I finished Ecco, not Skyward.

Hit the bath salts spinner until your able to eat someone’s face off. Then get abducted be aliens before you punch a dolphin for multiball. If your redneck multiplier is enough to cross the Alabama border, then you can unlock the domestic abuse with a fish wizard mode.

Was at the show Friday and had a great time. Thanks to whoever brought 'Dolphin'. I haven't played that game before and the three captive ball targets were mocking me. That's what's great about this show - seems like no matter how long you've been playing you always stumble upon a game you haven't seen before, while also getting another chance to play old favorites. I also like seeing games I have, just to see how they play in comparison to mine. All in all, another great show. Thanks Rich.

The dolphin scene (which was not in comics, he was nautical themed there but could not communicate with aquatic creatures) was hilarious. Dark, but hilarious.

While the touch up sanding and industrial clearcoat are not done yet I am able to at least walk on it and take a few pics. Hard to get a good picture as its a bit like glass. The clear will finish level and give a uniform shine. I shot for a bit lighter (dolphin color) to make it less of a cave and add a bit more character. With the future dark lighting and neon I think it will flow nicely with the theme.[att=5064081,1645186 caption=""][att=5064081,1645188 caption=""][att=5064081,1645187 caption=""]

Johnny has been shopped (topside), cleaned, titan translucent rubbers, color DMD, 3 spotlights added, LEDs swapped with Comet sunlight 2 SMD. Looks & plays great. Now I just have to make sense of the plot of the movie. Enjoying the callouts though, and I'm glad the dolphin from SeaQuest could score another gig. :D [att=4910393,1551658 caption=""][att=4910393,1551657 caption=""]

I’m putting new rubbers on my Dolphin. I’ve run into a snag. I bought a new set from patelrock but there seems to be something missing. Looking at the supplied picture where the rings are placed, there isn’t anything listed to go around the posts at the top of the capture ball feature. What to do? I’m thinking that a 2 1/2” ring may stretch around the three top posts? Pics... [att=4851558,1516860 caption=""][att=4851558,1516861 caption=""]

Just a warning, if you're not familiar with Harbor Freight, the stuff they sell is really cheap Oh, of course. I just wanted some cheap deep sockets in imperial pinball sizes and they’re really hard to get back home. They were $9 the set I think, the amount I’ll use them they’ll last forever. My main tool set back home is quality Japanese ETC stuff I got used like 25 years ago from our second hand store, and it’s still going strong. It’s “dolphin repair” tough. rd

Haha! I had to get a couple of your wacky imperial tools at Harbor Frieght, and some other bargains caught my eye ... that paper was damn cheap rd Just a warning, if you're not familiar with Harbor Freight, the stuff they sell is really cheap. And I don't mean just in price. Expect any tools you buy there to break soon after purchase. You're probably good with sandpaper though. Just be careful polishing your Dolphin, you don't want to strip the paint off.

Anybody in Canada have any pins they want to sell? Post #10240 in topic

Posted over 5 years ago by cait001 – in Regional for sale threads ‐ Last reply today

I've heard BW is a solid pin, but I have 3 little kids and a wife that share my house with me, so I figured I'd stay away from that theme for now the worst part of Baywatch is the Match screen where it's just a boob show, but that can be disabled in the menu. With that gone, and with no knowledge of the show itself, it becomes a generic beach-rescue themed pin with lots of great dolphin, shark, buoy, and vehicle sound effects.
