Harley Davidson : BSMT 2000 (Badly Synthesized Mono Tones) music system. 'Nuff said. 24 : "Shoot the sniper!" Ugh, no, not that guy again. He's really good at not getting shot. TAF : GI could be a bit brighter / more bulbs. Metallica : I'm sick and tired of contacting tech support, but they're nice fellas.

In pinball as in comedy, timing is everything. I had to drive to Raleigh on an errand and so didn't know about the possibility of selling the Diner in time to buy the Tommy. That is nobody's fault. I didn't think it was fair to ask Mark to hold it for me any longer than yesterday evening if he had other buyers waiting in the wings. So, congrats to both buyer and seller. Thanks to doughslinger for the great offer. As for me, better luck next time.

What is the Hardest Rubber to Replace? Post #13 in topic

GE has a couple that requires removal of multiple plastics and ramps. Almost any of the rubbers near the lane change on Diner are a huge PIA. You have to take out the diverter, remove both of the main ramps, multiple plastics, the cup and saucer. That game is a nightmare to shop.

Diner Owners Club...Can I Take Your Order ? Post #37 in topic

Posted over 11 years ago by PapaJohn – in All clubs (...members only!) ‐ Last reply 140 days ago

My first pin was a Diner. The theme went well with the gameroom. I powdercoated the wire ramp red and it looked great. New ramps and a well waxed playfield made the game look and play great. Same GI problem as discussed, just changed the connectors on the inner connect board. My wife's favorite game but to me it just got old and I sold it. I had it for two years. I then decided that ramp games bore me especially when they deliver the ball right to the flipper for you. No longer a Richi fan.

Posted over 11 years ago by Craig – in Pinball machines for sale ‐ Last reply over 3 years ago

Hi, Chris. Yes, yours is the one I am keeping. I wound up with two, which certainly wasn't my original intention. Along the way I traded for a better Diner, so I figured I'd hold onto both, imagining I'd use one and save the other. I was surprised to find that the new pin had a better cup that the first Diner did, so I ended up with two spares. Seems like it is either feast or famine when it comes to plastic parts for pins.
