  We've got a small group of guys that kind of get together and have been bringing 5-6 games the last couple years. Plan to do this again, but the titles are TBD. Some ideas are: Diamond Lady, Spanish Eyes, Pinbot, Getaway, maybe a Paragon or Big Indian. Not sure yet.

  I haven't seen a shooter lane like the design I am using but that's not to say there might be a game with a similar one and interested if any one has (please share) Sorry, I'm a little late to the party on this one, but Gottlieb's Diamond Lady is similar as well.   I have a nice Diamond Lady...it's not a bad game. As for your sound...I'd suggest replacing EVERY molex terminal inside the connectors on the wiring going to/from your sound board. Those edge connectors suck. I find on those system 80B games that those molex terminals have either broken or have become crushed inside the connector housings.

  I still firmly believe bad girls get's an undeserved bad rap. 100%. I also think it is the absolute ugliest pinball machine to have been made, but being that it's based off of Eight Ball Deluxe, it's a strong player. I think a lot of those 80B games are more fun than people let on. Despite the artwork, Hollywood Heat, Genesis, and Diamond Lady are pretty fun games with solid rules.

  Can someone please tell me what the power supply cap rating should be on a Diamond Lady pin? That big cap on the power supply next to the bank of fuses....and mind is not orange...i can only assume it was never orange or it was orange and was replaced. I am not in front of my pin at the moment and can not locate the manual online.

  Hello, I have a problem with a Diamond Lady pinball (Gottlieb/System 80B) When showing the high scores, the 1st is always 0 and the initials are (all leds on), like an 8 plus X. Any other high scores shows normal characters and true high scores. Making a top score will always show as 2nd. Is the 1st place reserved for a damn good score or could it be a RAM problem?? Thanks

  You have to tighten the big oval transistors on the driver board also so they get a good ground, i had one come loose and it caused some issues, not sure if its related to your game as im not familiar with diamond lady.

  I just looked at the artwork for Diamond Lady... Definitely gives me a confidence boost for when I start working on the art for my Future Pinball game! :lol: Whatever I manage to draw... At least I'll know it's not the worst artwork ever put on a pinball game...

  Diamond Lady is a good game. Pretty tough too. If I recall correctly, it was Jon Norris's first production game and it was designed more for the advanced player (hit only certain targets while completely avoiding others), and it was less approachable for a beginner for high scores.

  Diamond Lady is a pretty rare pin...I have one. My plastics are yellowed, but they were also really warped. I flattened them out. Adding LEDs takes some of the yellowed appearance out. My Diamond Lady cleaned up really good. Good luck in your search.

  Nice Gottlieb line up. I've had 2 Bad Girls...fun game. The only Gottliebs left in my line-up are Raven and Diamond Lady. Thanks! Yeah I really like Bad Girls, wouldn't mind picking up a Diamond Lady someday too.

  Gottlieb 80 driver board and 80B MPU and Reset Board for sale. Reset board works perfect. Driver and MPU need repair. MPU only needs a couple resistors associated with the ball trough replaced. Driver needs a couple MPS-A13's and a couple of the NSD-U45's, and a couple resistors replaced. No burns around the 2N3055's. From a Diamond Lady. With the expense of replacing U45's, might make a better "parts" board. I'll have them along with me at the show if you wanna take a look.

  I will be selling my "mild project" Gottlieb Arena shortly. I just don't have time for it. Has some playfield wear/touchups needs a little re-wiring to get it to boot. Plastics, cabinet, boards and translite look pretty good. Prefer cash but would consider trades for Diamond Lady, Excalibur or Victory.

  I'm doing a full blown shop job on my Diamond Lady. I noticed the PF GI only has a total of 12 lamps. I'm thinking about adding LED strips under the PF plastics to brighten up the PF. I might try adding a couple strips under the stacked plastics as well. Has anyone done this to their Diamond Lady? If so, can you share some pics?   I'm replacing the drop target decals on my Diamond Lady. I purchased new decals from Steve Young, but the decals have really "yellowed" through the years. You can't really see the discoloring in this scan. Is there anyone that can print these onto durable vinyl for me? They don't have to be adhesive back...I can apply the adhesive.   The Maestro board is fantastic and very easy to use. I've had it in a location game running many months 24/7 with zero issues. I bought one to install in my DE Simpsons... That shop job is next, as soon as I finish my Diamond Lady.

  I need to work on getting the flour scent light out of the back box I had a flour scent light in my Hot Shots but I took it out as it smelled like burnt toast when it got hot. I installed a popcorn scented light in the Hot Shots and a perfume scented light in my Diamond Lady.

  I had a Hot Shots and still have a Diamond Lady and both had the same issues. Has the daughterboard on the CPU been removed and it's pins reflowed? That process cured both my machines and my DL plays great. Not saying that is the cure for sure, but it should be done anyway. Alan
