    I don't know of any where the machine pays out money, in the 40s and earlier payouts were relatively common practice, but it was the store clerk who would pay you out not the game itself. https://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=2735&picno=5391 Victory Derby comes to mind. Kentucky Derby another. In Minnesota you loaded them with tokens, if you knew the person you bought them back for 5¢ each. Some states the game held nickels and paid them out. LTG : )

Only one I've ever beat is dirty robot. Maybe demo derby also. They just.... They don't score and aren't as fun as a song to me.

    I believe this was Nick’s final appearance on Pawn Stars. Bummer, I was just watching this! Didn’t Banning have a smaller version of the Sigma Derby for sale? It’s on my radar!     You mean like the screen door spring on the gas pedal in Death Races ? LTG : ) Lol, yep. I have a Death Race as well as the PG version Destruction Derby. A lot of the metal parts on those games like the shifters and pedals were just raw steel that they cut and welded to make work. At least the steering wheels on early game like that are easy to replace because they used legit steering wheels from the car hobby and you can still buy them.

    Just had an end of ball bonus last night at 7x that got me 1.4 million points. What did I do? Haha. I think I got that duck derby mode. That’s all I remember. I want to say I had 70-75 ducks too.

    Of all the games they have too, I'm surprised they didn't have an F355 Challenge in the big ass triple screen or even the single screen weaksauce one. They do have a Race Drivin' but it's a stand up and not the sit down cab. I just thought about it too, and they don't have a Final Fight either but they have a Punisher? Don't have that, but had an 8-player Derby Club in a pile

    I just visited this place last Sunday. Was in the Lake George area for the week and was only an 1hr drive from Lake George. I sold him a Gottlieb Derby Day a couple years ago. It was still playing strong. Great selection of games from Humpty Dumpty to Ocktoberfest. There are several EM arcade games on the third floor. Everything played great. Check this place out if you are near. Looks like it could be a nice weekend getaway area as well.

    Yep! Star Explorer is pretty cool for what it is. Had it as a kid in the 80s. You can find em all over still for $50-$100 still working. There's also a version themed to a demolition derby and I think one other. They were popular during the heyday of 80's pinball. Though it seems most kids and families soon moved on to video games because they stopped making them.[att=6417980,2505655 caption=""]

You might have a demolition derby or a drag race or a monster truck rally or a Moto X freestyle. I like monster trucks concept the best.     People seem to feel more code is coming but I’m not sure why they feel that way. I’ve not seen any statement either way from JJP…not that JJP ever says much on this topic. The whole Demolition Derby Album Mode is missing. Code is coming.

    Thanks Cheddar & Steamfitter I looked around and got a newer altek board out of a Dolly Parton copied over the dip switch settings from the board of this this game to that & I got this Jewel up & playing nice. It Plays "Call to Post" Kentucky Derby when you start a game in chimes type sound. Pretty cool lil Retheme for what it is. I am Still hoping someone can provide more info on the origins of these 3 Jack Daniels games. With the Kentucky Derby & whisky influences on the Theme its got me wondering.

    So....my bro came over today and played (KY derby, both fully vaxed) and the flippers were all great, then the upper flipper started acting weird. We played some other games and came back, thinking maybe it was just hot, but when we came back it was still wonky. We rebooted and the upper flipper was fine again. So....if you are playing and the upper flipper acts weird, try rebooting and see what happens.

    I have a Deluxe Derby Roll (not sure what the differences are). I've had it 10+ years and think it's a pretty fun EM game. Takes up more space than a pinball but interesting and something different.

    If any of the programmers are reading (and so it begins haha). With demolition derby lit, start noise multiball, drain to one ball, scoop relit - shot it - spat it back out - shot it again - worked. Probably something funny with the grace period. A spinner effect (inside spinner) in desert demolition would be nice too :mrgreen:
