I want to start tackling my GTB Derby Day soon. Can anyone tell me if the legs were chrome, cream colored or red out of the factory? I’m seeing conflicting information, and there are various colors in the photos on IPDB for this game. I was given 31 inch legs with the game, but they are black. And I’m assuming that’s the right size. [quoted image][quoted image] I believe the correct legs for "Derby Day" are red painted 31" metal legs.

Children’s Demo Derby is too funny. I grew up going to derby’s that followed hot rod shows. Imagine 2 land rockets with a parachute. SuperCross events featuring motorcycle jumps and monster truck rally’s are much better imo. We used to occasionally see Evil Kineivel jump school buses and cars on his motorcycle using a long ramp.

In the last two weeks, 4 of my 6 pins went down. Just dropping like flies from my wife and I very casually playing ~3 hours per week. Different eras and manufactures. How often has your gameroom looked like a demolition derby? Trying to be smart and get all the parts I need from Marco in one shipment, but I may just have to hunt and peck and do ad hoc orders to get these puppies back up. Else I may never have six solid hours just to chase everything down and make a complete list. SOLDERING IRON GOING HOT.

Some games have a single jones plug and a double jones socket (for power and no connection) next to the score motor coil that allow you to temporarily cut power to the motor. I don't think Snow Derby has this so you'd need to desolder one of the wires to the motor coil.

I love roller derby though and I I specifically liked the show when it was on, and I love the late 80s/early 90s cheese factor.

The show has been getting better each new season. I agree. I still really want to see self driving pre-programmed robots though. It's too much like remote control cars playing demolition derby. It's good, but I think adding in self control would make it better.

Yeah, last one went for $4100, but had the wrong motor, still think the value is $3500-$5,000.00 With taxes and shipping I'd bet this one was closer to $6K for the buyer, but well under $5K for the seller. Oh well, at least I've got Ringer and White lightning to scratch my oddball EM itch, maybe I'll go back to looking for a Sega Derby Day, at least no one else is looking for those! B
