Who was manufacturing this before? https://www.circusmaximusgames.com/ was working on Kingpin to fund Python's Pinball Circus machine. Facebook page hasn't been updated since January 26, 2020. Last I heard they spoke with several manufacturers about building them from their work, or they'd build them themselves. They have a large enough building. Then covid hit and not much news since then. I hope it happens so they can then do Python's game. LTG : )

I appreciate the quick responses! Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Circus was it; I showed him the picture to jog his memory, but he said that wasn't it; he recalls a number of elephants, possibly 8 or so (not sure if that was just the backglass or including the playfield). Apologies for the vague details, but like he said, this was 50 years ago lol

Your next question is what is a nice #circus-bally-1973 worth. Expect to pay around $500 from a collector if it’s mostly working. Retail I’d say they’ll ask $2,000 but it better be working 100% and very nice cosmetic condition. Any specific 40 year old machine is hard to find. I’ll be at Texas Pinball Festival this weekend. If you PM me (or post here if you can’t send PMs yet) I’ll let you know if I see one.

Mike Pacak got it to Pinball Expo in 2005. I had it at my Pinball Circus in the spring of 2006. We stored it until August and Greg Kemnitz took it to The Pinball Hall of Fame and met Steve Kordek and his wife and later had dinner with them. LTG : )

How about a stack of $500 or $1000 chips from a local casino? Can be bought and sold easily at cage, no questions. As long as you live near a casino. Don't come to Kansas and try to get me to take a stack of chips from Circus Circus in Las Vegas

System 80 constant melody on power up Post #1 in topic

Posted over 2 years ago by CraigJam – in Tech: Early solid state ‐ Last reply over 2 years ago

I am new to System 80 games and have a couple I am working on. The first is a 1980 Circus. I replaced the CPU with a Ni-wumpf and it appears to work great. I replaced corroded edge connectors as well. My issue is, upon power up a melody begins playing and never stops. I am not certain how these boards operate so I don’t know exactly where to start. The capacitors test fine and the voltages are sufficient at the sound board. Has anyone had this specific problem? Thanks for any help!

It was also a treat whenever we went to West Edmonton Mall. Used to be the largest mall in the world. They had 2 HUGE arcades. Circus Circus was in the middle of one of the food courts and Wizard's Castle at the entrance to Galaxyland. My mom would just leave me there with a few bucks and go shopping for a couple hours. Pinball Circus (2 made, prototype) Atari 4x4 (proto) Atari Roadrunner (proto) Goin’ Nuts (10 made, I believe). Although anyone can view Atari 4x4 and Roadrunner, they are always off at PHoF. The one night they were turned on was for the Grand Opening on July 1st. Pinball Circus can be played for $1/play. Goin’ Nuts is .50/play.

Here it is, the 61 flying circus I had (still have most of it) someone years ago- put it into a 1957 gottlieb cabinet- so I think things like this shooter rod, might be from that 1957 cabinet…Some of you old hands would know better than me. [quoted image] That would be a standard Bee Hive shooter rod from the 50's, so yes, it would be from the 57' cabinet. But it does look like the Flying Circus uses them too. https://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=902&picno=46553
