Sedert enkele jaren ben ik eigenaar van een Bally circus, deze werkte perfect maar door lange stilstand zijn er een aantal rekkers gesprongen, lampjes die niet meer branden, de balletjes laden niet meer dus momenteel kan er niet op gespeeld worden.   Not sure about that. Didn't they just convert one to their boards and big display ? LTG : ) Just checked my documentation, the one at TPF was build from parts by Circus Maximus, and they did make Kingpin 2.0 software. I believe they also possessed one of the originals, so at least ONE prototype was built by Circus Maximus, maybe more. I am confident in my 12-15 number being exceedingly accurate.

  How many Kingpins are made? Is it worth it? 9 were made, but one was lost in a fire some years back. Circus Maximus was working on remaking Kingpin (and Pinball Circus) and built at least one prototype of Kingpin, but I have no idea what happened to them, since they seemed to go silent a long time ago.

  Weren’t the rumors that they’re doing Kingpin? Wasn't a rumor. Circus Maximus was going to do Kingpin to fund their work on Pinball Circus. No new news on these projects for a few years. Play Mechanix Pinball ( Raw Thrills ) is doing Pulp Fiction with Chicago Gaming. And that is definitely happening. LTG : )

  Just got word that the Sound Circus will be coming out to spin vinyl. Its the same crew that DJ'ed at Dirty Donny's Pop Up X-Mas Bash at TFR. Cafe Cucamonga will be setting up around 7:30am so no need to rush and stop for coffee if you are a vendor. And they will be here for everyone coming out at 10am and later. They will have Bagels, Donuts, Banana Nut Bread, Ham and Cheese croissants, Mochas, Espresso, Latte, etc...

  Yeah I only have 2 now, both Gottliebs' Circus and Star Race. Had 5 at one time but am now considering selling everything (Acade1up's, mega touch etc.) except my Circus. Still love to play but am getting old (67) so thought I'd simplify what I have. Many oddball things too, pay phone, working parking meter......yeah strange stuff lol

  LITT Pinball has it. And some really good food and drinks too. Just a couple minutes south of downtown Minneapolis. I believe they just took it off of the floor due to it being down for repair. Replaced with Circus Voltaire.

  I received a picture this morning from my brother with his family outside of the PHOF. My first thought was I should reply "be careful inside, they don't like kids" but I didn't want to be negative and just said "Have a great time, be sure to play pinball circus!" An hour later I get a text from him saying "We were kicked out by the headlamp guy!" :applause: I just have to wonder how fucked up Tim's childhood was to make him have such a hate boner for kiddos. Perhaps some mushrooms would chill him out.

  What makes you think CM has still any involvement in Kingpin? It has been years without any news. They don’t own the name license also. Kingpin is behind BBB IMO but I agree with you, it would be the perfect remake, along with BBB. Speculative theory based on history. If Circus Maximus lost licensing to Capcom games who has it now?

  Just played the original Circus Maximus in Las Vegas. It was a hoot and the family really liked it. Any updates on remaking this machine? I’d still like to have one. It would be super cool if it were remade the way python wanted this game made. Hope to hear something.

  I am trying to gather high quality resources for a Gottlieb Circus pinball game. Would love to get scans of the plastics and or playfield. If not good hi res pics would suffice.   He actually did just call me back. He gave me an update. A couple things he asked me not to share, but what I can share is that the code update has been completed and it is being reviewed by the license holder. It will be released as soon as they approve. I know, let the eye rolls start as we’ve heard this before, but unfortunately that’s the reality. Not buying it, keep the pitchforks ready fellas! Oh forgot to add, they will have an issue with something and back to drawing board. What a circus!

  I'm hoping someone has a 1973 Bally Circus. I'm looking for pictures of the relay board under the playfield. In particular the paper labeling of all the relays. Mine are all gone except for one. Several close-up pictures would be great. I bought it reasonable for a fun project. It was completely dead when I got it. I cleaned all the plugs and connectors and now it does power up but still has several issues. Thanks

  According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the Kingpin trademark WAS owned by Pinball, Inc. until 03/02/2020 when it was abandoned. That's a shame, as they had intended to remake the game. Someone in the Netherlands trademarked "Kingpin" on 02/23/2023. I guess it just confirms the earlier posts. I remember at Midwest Game Classic 2019 Circus Maximus were having prototype cabinets made. That's the last I heard of anything.

  Wow they were so far along...... If the rumors about someone else getting the rights are true - what a punch to the gut. Maybe that's why we haven't heard anything. Well, hoping for the best. Maybe they sold what they had? Or ended up outsourcing the game like they had planned? Com'on Pinball Circus...... that's what everyone really wants to see. What a comeback story that would be!!

  I always thought Circus Maximus was trying to find someone to manufacture the game, ie, CGC? Atleast that's the way I understood it when I talked to them at SFGE a few years back. With that being said I can see another company picking this up and building it.

  I've only played the shadow on Virtual Pinball, looks great and seems fun. Looked it up on pinball maps and there's one not too far away! guess it's time for a pinball pilgrimage. Also did some research on the pinball circus! so is it still available to play in Las Vegas? seems that's the ultimate pinball pilgrimage! And I do love Python...

  Anyone want to but a signed translite? I wonder what will happen for the people who paid high money to get #1, the first to be produced by CM. It was an auction as I remembered. CM should have stayed focus on pinball circus, maybe it would be more advanced today and they might have found a partner for this.

  Lane guides are finished, and installed Pop bumper lights, and caps are in Trying to figure out how to attach a LED tube to the ramp to light it up?
