He actually did just call me back. He gave me an update. A couple things he asked me not to share, but what I can share is that the code update has been completed and it is being reviewed by the license holder. It will be released as soon as they approve. I know, let the eye rolls start as we’ve heard this before, but unfortunately that’s the reality. Not buying it, keep the pitchforks ready fellas! Oh forgot to add, they will have an issue with something and back to drawing board. What a circus!

I'm hoping someone has a 1973 Bally Circus. I'm looking for pictures of the relay board under the playfield. In particular the paper labeling of all the relays. Mine are all gone except for one. Several close-up pictures would be great. I bought it reasonable for a fun project. It was completely dead when I got it. I cleaned all the plugs and connectors and now it does power up but still has several issues. Thanks

According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the Kingpin trademark WAS owned by Pinball, Inc. until 03/02/2020 when it was abandoned. That's a shame, as they had intended to remake the game. Someone in the Netherlands trademarked "Kingpin" on 02/23/2023. I guess it just confirms the earlier posts. I remember at Midwest Game Classic 2019 Circus Maximus were having prototype cabinets made. That's the last I heard of anything.

Wow they were so far along...... If the rumors about someone else getting the rights are true - what a punch to the gut. Maybe that's why we haven't heard anything. Well, hoping for the best. Maybe they sold what they had? Or ended up outsourcing the game like they had planned? Com'on Pinball Circus...... that's what everyone really wants to see. What a comeback story that would be!!

Realized that I am an early 80s SS guy - Willams vs Bally Post #97 in topic

Posted 100 days ago by RWH – in Tech: Early solid state ‐ Last reply 98 days ago

I have Star Race and Circus currently, owned Black Hole and Spiderman, repined them all and rarely had problems afterwards. I enjoy the art, quirky sounds and simplicity of play which for me is what originally attracted me to pins. I could step up play 2-4 games and know exactly what I needed to do to get a replay.

That would be great! Instead of a Safe Cracker "Magic Token" it could kick out a delicious Scooby Snack. Lol. You need to get this idea in Spooky's hands immediately! Backglass should be interactive. Something like Circus Voltaire or T3, but Scooby with his mouth open and you have to toss scooby snacks into his mouth.

But why would they? I doubt they would sell many at $5k even - it's a niche novelty game. There's a lot of games you could label 'niche novelty'. I'd happily pay 10+k for a Pinball Circus.

If *Hope* is a plan, then plan on this game showing up, no matter what the ice cold facts of the last 5 (or more) years have shown us. Kingpin - as dead as it looks. Pinball Circus - it was never alive. Hoping there is still movement towards any finish line is just that; hope. Only a company with money, a plan, and access to a manufacturing facility will be able to move the needle in the right direction. That is not Circus Maximus.

Posted 110 days ago by Pinstein – in All Pinball ‐ Last reply 99 days ago

Orbitor 1's "spinning" bumpers were cool and really worked for that game, even though playing O1 once every decade scratches that itch. I'd love to see the idea reused somehow though, maybe as a rising toy like the pop in Circus Voltaire. [att=7268892,3148957 caption=""]

I put a few games on Toy Story two weeks ago at Game Terminal Nashville. I enjoyed it a lot! I didn't understand the "ramp" until I finally hit it and the ball when up and into the circus area. That was cool. I don't understand the hate out there. Other than the price.

Never noticed it before but Lemans is the French word for Lemons. Well the car was low frills but had power windows. The cloth roof liner would often come loose and hang down inside the car like a circus tent against your head. That car lasted 4 year of high school, 4 years of college and 2 years of young work life.
