First time Visit to PHOF in May 2024 Post #20 in topic

Posted today by KHL – in All Pinball ‐ Last reply today

True, it's the only place in the world you can look at a non working Pinball Circus. My entire family enjoyed our stop there. There's a lot of stuff you aren't going to find anywhere else. Most of it was playable when we stopped but even the ones that were off were interesting to see for a pinball fanatic. I don't know that I would plan on a full day there but a few hours is well worth it. Hopefully the wax mold machine is working and you can get a Disney figure. [quoted image]

Anybody looking for a trade? I’ve got a few games I would consider trading: Bond LE, Venom LE, CCRLE, Batman 66, Scooby CE, collector quality Whirlwind with new playfield, radcals, ramps etc. I’m interested in a high quality Fish Tales, Addams, champion pub, pulp fiction, Circus Voltaire, AFMR, MBR, EJ? and maybe a few others. Let me know what you have. Plus or minus cash. Thanks!

Yeah all those low cost games that stern made have flown off the shelves for folks who want a cheap pinball machine. :D :D :D Oh wait a minute, those folks who want a cheap pinball machine for their room with a pool table in it. - They also want to be able to write code for it and change it and mod it. Honestly you couldn't make this shit up.

The sound does work...hmm. Also I already planned on picking up a 4 fuse block because it's in bad shape. I don't think I jumpered over the fuse for the bridge. I should try that. Or should the sound not work if the fuse connection to the bridge was bad? The schematic shows the sound board in circuit with the pops but I don't see the fuse on it. I can check my Circus tonight as it has the same setup but the sound board working tells me that the bridge is good.

Absolutely love Twilight Zone, it's my favourite game of all time, but it's always strange to me that they're remaking a game with such high production numbers. I feel like lower production games like Circus Voltaire and such would make better remakes. I was ecstatic when they remade Medieval Madness as I felt that game was way too good to have so few games made for it.

Hard to argue with either one of those as the most expensive production games. I'll just throw Judge Dredd in for conversation but its a distant runner up. That said, I'll come out of left field for some and submit, Revenge From Mars for consideration. The complete, company wide overhaul to the Pinball 2000 system, just in terms of man hours, must have been staggering. And in my opinion, a completed Wizard Blocks would sell. Now available for the first time in years. Insert panels (tubs) for the late model WPC-95 games. Every game that uses a insert light panel is available for immediate shipping. We even have the hard to make Circus Voltaire light panel. Most of these panels are brittle and discolored from 25 years of use in a pinball. These are made to the original OEM standards and are CNC cut from the original Williams and Bally blueprints for a perfect fit. [att=7982181,3737167 caption=""]

TWIPY's change course again..kind of Post #103 in topic

Bless you Christopher Franchi and your two “barking dogs” for stomping on these past TWIPY award shows. [att=7922189,3691263 caption=""] Currently, this whole award show seems like the circus and clowns are rioting against each other. Simple solution…if you enjoy a game, company, or pinball person just write them an email/letter and play on location.
