It’s not from a sensitive pop bumper leaf spring.

I've listed this beauty in the past with little interest https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/for-sale-cq-centaur (no longer for sale). Looks like Haggis does great work (never owned one), but I don't see the risk/reward here! (of dealing with a questionable business).

Here come the ads: https://pinside.com/pinball/market/classifieds/ad/88468 Not sure we can expect a flood of Bargain FHs. Look at Centaur/Fathom...the remakes only made people RAISE their prices on used originals, as they figured "hey idiots are paying $10k for a brand new Centaur, I better raise the price of my beater from $4k to 6k!"

Announcing - Motorhead Pinball Post #208 in topic

What’s a messenger ball? Foo Fighters, Embryon, Centaur, Mystic, Lost World, Breakshot, Mustang, Venom-carnage, big bang bar to name a few all use one or a variation of one. Stern Jurassic Park Truck could be considered loosely based on a messenger ball. But I would consider this more of a captive ball-messenger ball hybrid. Messenger ball is a single ball thats held, but when hit changes state of action to move to a contact switch.

Simple inexpensive remake is the direction that Haggis should have gone with Fathom, Centaur, etc. They could have just remade the games, with no re-engineering, no LCD displays ... , they didn't bring loads of new parts to market for owners of original Fathoms and Centaur to utilize the way this new Pedretti deal seems to have. If I worked for Haggis, they would have to check my lunchbox every day to make sure I wasn't stealing all the parts to build my own Centaur... but not a remake, revisted, or recoded, just the simple old original Centaur ruleset. Once you get it rocking, there is some major pinball satisfaction going on when I play it. Chamber Feature! My original Centaur is the most played game I own. Happy more people will get to enjoy it although I'm not a fan of the colors on the playfield
