Yeah, I spent many hours mapping out my Captain Fantastic Jones connector signal names from the wire colors. Mapping the Bronco will take even longer if I decide to do that. My question on the Jones connector availability was not for replacement, but instead for making a programmable test jig for checking playboards and score boxes. Doug

This is a simplified version of the Bronco Bonus Score circuits. If I transcribed it correctly it shows how during a double bonus the bonus unit steps down twice in one score motor cycle. [att=8016032,3763015 caption=""] In this drawing the "ABC Completed" switches are the 4B relay switches in the schematic and the "Last Ball" switches are the LB or 5B relay switches. Also the Motor 4C switches are the same as Motor 3C switches. I'll have to write this up better and add it to my website sometime.

What could be more fun to a child than a spinning roto, a bucking bronco in the backglass, a grinning horsie between the slings, and the colorful playfield and backglass of "Buckaroo"? I'm sure the short flippers wouldn't cause any child to dislike it, or not have fun playing it.

Posted 7 months ago by leojreimroc – in EM Pinball Tech ‐ Last reply 7 months ago

I have a Gottlieb Bronco that has a small issue. On a 1 player game, the game sometimes goes to player 2, usually on ball 1 (ball 2-5 usually stay on player 1). On a 2 player game, again on ball 1 only (usually), the game goes to player 1, 2, then 4. I tried cleaning the player disk in the backbox. I also notice some switches attached on that module. Should I be cleaning all those switches as well? Or would the problem likely be elsewhere.

Finally got a win tonight! Had 4 stars, all but Motherload. I needed 3 GMMs to finally grab it, but I got there in the end. 178,795,500 High noon is kind of just silly fun, but I think I like the showdown mode the best, followed by Bionic. I find marksman and bronco to be the toughest shots. Drop targets all working great now, but I think I need to adjust the switch for the beer. Lots of direct hits that pop the beer but make no game sounds.

Just looked at the Wilson contract details. Bronco's are pretty much fucked. The soonest they could cut him would be the before the 2026 season. He's $59.4M salary would be divided into $31.2M in dead money and save $27.2M in cap space. A 2025 cut would cost a mind boggling $49.6M hit in dead money. They won't be competitive barring a miracle or the rebirth of Wilson for years.

2023 first (how do they have one??) and a 2024 second. Wow. So dumb. I don't get Payton going there. Bronco's don't pick till twice in the 3rd round this year. That team is already over next year's increased cap. Wilson is broken. He must be getting a crap load of money.

Working on a Gottlieb Bronco. Replaced the burnt game over relay so that now works. Game plays great except it won’t go to ball 2,3,4,5. Just repeats ball 1. If I manually move the stepper in the back it does, but not on it’s own. I am sure it is just one small thing I am missing but so frustrating. Anyone help me pinpoint?

Great car or not, Ford calling that vehicle a Mustang is sacrilege to generations of Mustang owners and its design legacy. Eh... I think they know just what they're doing marketing-wise. There's also the new Bronco and the F-150 Lightning, which even though I'm not a truck guy, looks pretty, pretty good.

I thought about moving mine there as well. The problem is Lermods attached an unnecessarily large mount of some sort to the bottom that juts down too far into the ramp and can impede the ball. I've been trying to get it off but seems glued so tightly I may need an electric table saw to cut it down. I tested it with the Bronco here and the ball doesn’t hit that on mine. Weird.

I did not notice the other one on ipdb without it, so I assumed it did. I was thinking you meant yours did have Shoot Added Ball Now. Both on the AAB Bronco and AAB Hula Hula, the 0 - 9 Match feature numbers on the backglass are not used to display the added balls. There's no 'SHOOT ADDED BALL NOW' silkscreened in this glass.
