raised pimple on plastic ramp from hot light underneath Post #1 in topic

Posted over 10 years ago by tomtest – in All Pinball ‐ Last reply over 10 years ago

I just bought a Bram Stokers Dracula and the left plastic ramp has a raised "pimple" on the top side of the ramp due to a hot 555 light underneath, what would be the best way to eliminate the pimple, heat it with a spoon type solder gun with possibly a cloth between it and the plastic? I certainly don't want to burn a hole in the plastic as I'm not really sure it affects gameplay, it's just one of those things that bugs you forever, knowing it's there.

Bram Stokers Dracula. That is my keeper. Somebody else can sell it when I die. Other than that, I'll play them until I'm bored with it, and then out it goes. Don't get me wrong, there are some that will be around my house for a very long time. But even Harlem Globetrotters will eventually wear out its welcome a few years down the road.
