Regardless, my boss was only looking for 5 games for our Rec room so he had to pass on the auction. In Silly Valley, where engineers are being paid $200K, overpaying by a few $K each for pins for the rec room is no big thing.

Gottlieb typically only used rubber-coated wires (in long runs) for high-voltage circuits. The targets reset when that switch dog falls into the valley on the C cam. With the game turned off, you can manually turn the score motor so it does this, then verify the switch with the rubber wire is closing nice and snugly. Is it?

From what the locals were telling me, you couldn't see Mt. Baldy from Ontario airport most days, which is hard to imagine. This is a 100% true story. We moved to CA in July 1972, to Moreno Valley. Sometime in November, we finally got some winds that blew out all of the smog, which would happen in the winter. We stepped outside and were astonished to see that there were mountains nearby (Big Bear, etc). Seriously, we had no clue whatsoever that those mountains where there for all that time.

There are EMs with great shots to make and that are a blast to play, IMO. Jet Spin and Hot Tip EM are a couple of examples.

I can’t get enough Mad World when I get to play it (there’s one at VFW). But since the extra ball is released into the shooter lane and not the playfield, is it really a ”multi-ball”? Great game, though, and you can’t beat the artwork, IMO. I had a Big Valley. I liked having multi-ball with 3” flippers, but I eventually found it too repetitive and sold it. I really like Nip-It, have had one for awhile and it never gets boring.
