  Sounds about right. I went to the ER about 10-years ago with several abdominal pain that was radiating into my upper back, thought I was having a heart attack. Ended up being severe GURD. Anyhow, I was there for a little over 2-hours and my bill was over $5000. Insurance paid most of it, but I was still on the hook for a few hundred.

  @slochar The way you described your testing with v1.13 matches my Test #4, which worked normally. Can you try completing RTU and pulling a ball as they're draining, and then wait for the "00 REMAINING" message before you drop the ball back onto the playfield? Let's see what behavior you get with that. This would essentially perform my Test #2.   sometimes my skill shot through the left upper flipper doesn't register. I noticed today that the ball can fit past the flipper without triggering the switch if it has just the right amount of power. that sucks [quoted image] I am so glad you posted this with a picture.   I emailed Wayne at pinitech,. He said this a was a 6264 equivalent. I have a 62256 I must have purchased for attack from Mars (which I'm sure I checked before ordering).   Thanks wally, i bought the hakko version, it's pricey, but if it's even just slightly better for an amateur, the extra money will be worth it. Turns out, i do not have the Nvram, i have one that i'm pretty sure i bought for attack from mars, but it has a different ram in it. There are two types for wpc95. I don't want to mess with jumpers, so i'll just wait on the 6264 to come.

  I've definitely seen this happen - light special attack on a boss phase, start the next phase, and the special attack is still lit and can be used then. I'm not sure how much damage the special does, though; it might not be much, it doesn't always end the current phase. Yea, special attack is weird. I honestly haven’t paid much attention to the damage it gives (seems good). But scoring is usually low, but sometimes I get a couple hundred mil from it. Maybe multipliers?

  I’m not so sure the rules pdf sheet is up to date. But digging into some of the readme files, apparently red shots or large damage shots lights special attack and it carries over to the next phase if needed.   I think Fix is hanging on with his fingernails because his hope is this is just 1990 and the heyday of unlicensed pin titles is just about to explode again, and he want's to be there for that "the Earth is under attack... an Attack From Mars!!!" moment with the shaking saucer and laughing cow jokes... all with the expectation that if he is at the right place at the right time, somehow, AP will become the WMS or Bally wannabe it has always tried to be but saddly will never be as long as Fix be as Fix be.

  Ok interesting, so on premium/LE you have chance to make a better score that on a pro . If you get points when you contact the propellers... The points are very small. It only really matters for the modes that count switch hits, which are Pteranodon Attack and King of the Island MB, though it can help those a fair amount.

  People forget about the importance of game play. Unlicensed themes in the 90s had mechs like the castle from medieval or space ship from attack. Ball lock and boat ramp from fish tales. Americans new BBQ game is down right terrible. There is no mech or anything to bring any sort of excitement. Bring cool mechs back and the theme will start mattering less and less. I honestly was so disappointed when i played it i really wanted to enjoy it but they put zero effort into that game

Saucer bashing is great for ... during those multi balls. Then if it's going well and you're getting close to Attack Mars you may shift to concentrate on it more.

  I feel JJP gives you way more bang for the money. There I said it I buy what's fun to me. JJP hasn't had anything that fits my taste so far. I'd rather have a fast, fun game with shrinky dinks than something pretty but boring. Not an attack on JJP. Just an entirely different experience than what I tend to enjoy.

  Noticed a “sneak attack” reward if you shoot the wave ramp but it doesn’t make it all the way up and falls onto the right wire from back to the right flipper. Shows a scene from the movie where the dock gets pulled apart with the guys using a roast on a hook for bait. Is that new? I thought it was pretty funny and a nice “award” for failing to complete the wave ramp.

  I don’t agree the Chinese one was better - I felt far more drawn into the Netflix one. BTW, no one in the cast is American?!? What makes it ‘Americanized’ or targeted for American consumption is it being moved to English and the focus being on a Western (more diverse) and specifically non-Chinese cast and locale. This is likely the very reason you were more drawn into it. Edit: this isn’t meant to be a judgment about you or anyone else… so please don’t take it as a personal attack.

  I’ve been having occasional issues with balls shot right up the middle with the drops down not starting the demo attack mode. They would still trigger any other events ready to go but the flashing red arrow would continue. Last night it was working less than half of the time. As difficult as this game is, it’s extra frustrating when things don’t work. What is the thing to check? Is it an opto that triggers the demo?

  I've never bought the same machine twice, but have had a few rotate through my basement in trade multiple times. I do much better accepting the best trade offer rather than holding out for cash or the exact game I want. Games held multiple times through trades: Deadpool Jurassic Park Attack From Mars Pinbot Total Nuclear Annihilation There are a few games I feel I was talked out of a bit early and would love to have again. Fish Tales, Godzilla, Stern Star Trek being at the top of that list.
