  I think this kinda proves that original content went out with the DMD. Audio needed to be more like attack from Mars or like a war of the worlds type feel, but with camp. And then just play cheesy, yet story-relevant and public domain, black and white sci Fi movie clips a la elvira, and have franchi build a nice interface over the top of the video.

  Aerosmith has the most beautiful art of any modern Stern - one reason it’s hard for me to think of letting it go. I kinda feel like the bolt-on mods take your attention away from that. What Aerosmith has going for it too, is the rules are pretty straightforward. Sometimes I just want to play a game without having to think about how to attack the game via the rules.

  So I was watching a video for gameplay strategy and I noticed in one of them that they triggered Attack Mars after completing only 3 "missions", I assume that is a setting you can flip on? Is that right? (I ask as I have yet to trigger it despite almost completing all 9 missions... my best shot was when I had 1 ball to get to the mystery mission... only to get alien bowling and have it crash! :wall: )

  Looking back at 2020 and 2021: 2020: Medieval Madness was the #1 rated game at the time. Attack from Mars won the tournament (#2 rated game). 2021: Guns n' Roses (JJP) was rated #1. Twilight Zone (#9) beat our Medieval Madness (#2) by two votes, 121-119. It'll be interesting to see how this year plays out.

  I don't see the targets lowering like attack from Mars they don't seem to have any flush surface for the ball to travel on like a drop Target does they look like regular targets on the top, the balls could get stuck in the route of the playfield and start chipping it up

  This looks like a winner to me ! Plus the effect you get in that one special moment ( start of multi-ball , begin attack of enemy tank , whatever ) when the shaker goes off , the audio rumbles like a tank , and the rope lights on the treads start a chase pattern to simulate tread movement could be a really rewarding , grin inducing event ! At least that’s what I’m imagining . I’m 85% in - just want to see a little game play to push me over the top .

  To everyone that is so sure that parts will find a way… try to get a score board for Shaq attack. As far as I know people have wanted a replacement for years, and nothing has been made. There’s a market, yet nothing has be reverse engineered; and that’s just a simple lcd panel with a special chip.

  Love this. One of my favorite unrepresented episodes. My all-time favorite. Great story, pace, acting and arc. Especially sad if you know how tragically actor Gig Young’s life ended, and how the actor who plays his father so memorably in the episode, Frank Overton, died of a heart attack at age 49. I read this was Rod Serling’s most personal story. I also love “What You Need,” “Nick of Time,” “The Monsters are Due on Maple Street,” and “a Game of Pool.”

  I hate mirror blades. I put in art blades all the time without removing the playfield and it takes 15 minutes max. My Attack From Mars Remake came originally with mirror blades and in my opinion that’s an amazing touch… I played a classic version without them in my distributor’s place and the game doesn’t look that good.

  Is it normal for my ball to not make it all the way around the loop to right flipper when it auto plunges or I do a full plunge? ; About 5-10% of the time it doesn’t make it up the black panther ramp and ends up being a flank attack instead of reaching right flipper; Eject strength is already maxed ball seems centered enough; It rarely happens so maybe just normal??

  Some cleaners can attack the backing of the translight and cause it to rub off. Not sure that windex/ammonia is one of those.

  Ordered an LE Foo and passed on Scooby. I wasn’t anticipating wanting Foo fighters, but Stern knocked it out of park with art, layout, mechs and theme. Foo fighters feels like a mash up of Scooby, the band and attack from Mars.

  Attack From Mars is an unlicensed retro-space theme and one of the top rated pinballs ever. I have no issue with the theme, but I do want to see some much better and more detailed pictures of the game and some gameplay videos. I have a lot of faith in Nordman making a top notch game and I've been holding off on making any more purchases until I see this one.

  Seeing MK2 front and center in this series brought a tear to my eye for sure, that game is the high watermark of the Arcade Era I grew up in being born in 78'. Also, watching the episode with my 13 year old son who geeked out when Attack from Mars was shown, was pretty awesome...It was definitely an homage to us gamers.

  Odd, I never heard/saw it play before. Maybe because I SUCK lol I don't know when they were and I think they only appear after hitting the target a certain amount of times? Sometimes you just get the sound byte about the Judith plot from the cemetery scene, but then multiple hits would play clips of Michael's attack on Judith. I'm not sure if they changed it up anymore with this update. I imagine First Kill mode is going to have more of the house stalking scene

  I have to say again... house attack overtaking everything else needs to go. That is the one thing that sucks. I am trying to finish a mode but the house attack takes over and masks everything else going on. House attacks needs to be stand alone and not interfere with the other modes.

  This one has peaked my interest. I think the theme sounds like it could be great. I like space themes. Attack from Mars is fantastic and I owned a Space Invaders before which I always thought was a cool theme. First game over the last couple years I might buy.

  I haven't played CC yet....For those that have, how does it compare to MM or MB? Is it a really fun game? I'm an okay player and like the fact I know how to get to Battle the Kingdom in MM unlike some other games which are so deep. So having a game that the Wizard mode is achievable like AF and MM is fun for me. Thanks I like it but mm and attack from mars is better. I like cc better than mb. I sold that game.
