  That was my initial hunch. Did the game tell you it was having ball trough issues? Apollo 13 had membrane switches in the upper lock. Those would require the ball to physically press into them. However, I believe Star Wars is opto switches. Correct me if I'm wrong. However, if one of the optos was bad it should still act funny and try cycling balls or give error messages. Get into switch test and see what you find out.

  The Apollo 13 we had, had problems with the ball trough. Often switches would not get pressed enough to register or the balls would not roll on the switches. I'd say check your ball through because it probably needs some adjusting :)

  GoldenEye orders will ship with the same Sega adapter we ship for Apollo 13. The adapter is similar to, but different, than the one for Data East. There are ... can be mounted with the flat wood speaker panel. LCD mounting should be similar to Apollo 13. If that's wrong, we'll post an update here.

  I kind of inherited my first ones, Bad Cats and Rescue 911 and Apollo 13, BoP was the first one I officially bought. I’m wanting to add a Funhouse or Pinbot but I just got BoP back in August. Having trouble convincing myself to drop 2k on a pinbot or about 4K on a Funhouse even though I know they are good machines I’ll love.

  well, I have 12 DMD's and 9 have the color DMD in them. I am now officially in the waiting game for Gottlieb and Sega's. does anyone know if or when the Sega's and Gottliebs will get thrown on the to do list? Several Sega machines have been done already, such as ID4, Godzilla, Baywatch, Apollo 13, Lost in Space, Frankenstein, and JP lost World. Gottlieb will eventually get there.

  Does anyone have a NOS Apollo 13 playfield that I could pay them to scan? We are working on adding the table to VPX, but need resources. I have a near mint Apollo 13 at my house, but would like to avoid stripping the playfield down for scanning if I can. So if someone has a NOS or unpopulated playfield laying around, I would happily compensate them to get me an 8K scan of the PF. This can be done in several images, with a flatbed scanner, or taken to a shop with a large format scanner. Either way.

  NHL 94 Desert Strike Shinobi No gunstar heroes??? Shining force 2??? Killin me!! Baywatch, Batman Forever, and Goldeneye. Apollo 13 and Lost in Space are actually super fun too. Alot of Sega stuff gets a bad rap but there is alot of game for the money in there!

  Did you look at Pinball.Center's full site? I know in some cases; they do break sets apart and sell individual plastics. I don't know if they do that for the game you're talking about. The reason for domestically is given above. I looked. It's for Apollo 13 which is prone to broken plastics with the 13 multiballs. I have thought about this today and since I only have two plastics (which are broken) to be replaced, I am considering making my own. If I do I will post the results to the forum. Thanks again.

  The only place I can find replacement plastics for my Apollo 13 is from Pinball Center in Germany but their websites states they do not ship to the United States. Does anyone know why they would not ship to the largest pinball market in the World?

  Rocket Problem. I just acquired an Apollo 13 and I am going through the clean-up and testing process. One issue I have found is that the rocket will not tilt up during game play. It is my understanding it should tilt upwards during the countdown sequence but mine never moves. It does move up and down when the solenoids fire sequentially when trying to find a missing ball. Any ideas where to start with this? Thanks!

  You will see a final wisp of terrible smelling smoke, then the transformer will be dead. I had an Apollo 13 that did same thing. Transformers don't go bad often, but when they do, they are done. I would not leave it powered up when u aren't there

  I mean...why not get the "whole" license? Why would they break up several types of licenses? Money grab? Couldnt they just pay for rights to the movie(s) and use any voice clips/sounds from there? You may be surprised how expensive, difficult, or downright impossible it can be to obtain certain assets. Ever noticed there's a faceless helmet in the middle of the Apollo 13 translite? Tom Hanks said no. Try changing his mind with pinball money.

  Here's my story. Since this was printed in 2004 I have had a NIB TSPP (sold), Space Mission(sold), Black Knight (original)(sold), Apollo 13(sold), NIB AFMr (still have).   I just picked up this apollo 13 factory test playfeild. It was used to test the ball lock switch membrane and ball trough assembly for reliability. Playfeild has no inserts or holes cut in it. Just thought I'd share a cool piece of history. Also if anyone needs any parts from it let me know. I'll be stripping it down to hang on the wall.   At the time when you drain your second to last ball and 13ball multiball continues, put your game immediately in switch test and look wat switches are active and which ones aren't (that should be), especially super vuk, trough (including optos), 8 switch membrame, ... 13 ball multiball should stop when you drain your second to last ball of course.   Hi a new on this forum. I am from Belgium and just have my Apollo 13 a few weeks. So glad I could find one. I need some advise on the behavior of the pinball during 13 ball Multiball. For an unknown reason only in the 13 mutiball, after all balls are gone, the game doesn't stop. It executes a ball search and launches a ball again. It's jyust like the machine doesn't count right. All balls are staged and the 8 ball membrane works fine. Any idea what this could be?

  Note on out-lane spinners. I's pretty much impossible without opening up the outlanes to comfortably fit a regular spinner in there. We'll have to modify the spinner bracket, rail, and replace the spinner itself for the longer/skinnier apollo 13 spinner. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, but we'll give it our best shot!

  Had a wonderful 2018, with my highlight being the road trip to Manitoba Canada with my dad and son, to meet @erico201 and pick up his Joust. Great family who really made us feel welcome, and while some probably thought I was nuts to go to Winnipeg from TN to get a machine, the memories with my dad and son were worth it!
