  Hi all. A bit of a long shot, but does anyone have a high-resolution copy of Aerobatics back glass? I am slowly restoring a table, and the glass has delaminated beyond repair so I am looking to print on translucent vinyl and fix it to a fresh piece of glass with appropriate masking. Would also appreciate any hig res copies of apron and plunger guide as mine have rusted beyond repair. I will have to print and stick as screen printing would be far too costly. TIA. Jim

  Far Out, Hot Tip, Aerobatics Very hard question to really answer though. There is so much variety to EMs it's impossible to really capture it with just three games.

  Two members of our group added eight games to The Pinball Asylum from the sad dispersal of PAPA's collection. We got a few classics, and some real oddball games, 'cause we love our oddball games here at The Pinball Asylum: Aerobatics Argosy Attila The Hun Big Flipper Diner Fairy Fire Jackbot A few issues noted on arrival, but all are up and running now. I'm also pretty certain that several of these are going to make it into IFPA17 in May of 2022 at The Pinball Asylum.

  Hi All! I am working on a 1977 Aerobatics EM and it’s a little bit different than what I am used to! Here is what I know: 1.) Switches all appear okay and clean. 2.) Hitting start button causes the game to sort of half start, then just hold all of the drop target coils. 3.) Game will not start, it just keeps holding those coils. No flippers, no ball eject. Let me know where I should look!! This game is very different than what I am used to!

  I'm just shocked you would get rid of a game featuring a dude in a speedo and a cape. It's like I don't even know you. if I had unlimited space it would be staying and i'd go for a full set of zacs. but i'm limited, so i'm only sticking to my desire to get a full set of Gen 2's.   One important note: These sound and flasher boards were copied from Combat. Combat utilizes an explosion sound via a daughter card, which are connected to pins 1 and 2. Other games may not use these. The important thing to note is the power coming into the board with a double red wire. I tested this in Aerobatics, which doesn't utilize pins one and two and it works great.[att=4435534,1291726 caption=""]

  Hi folks. About to join Team Zaccaria (EM). It might be good to have a separate thread for the EM's... not much in this thread about them. I'll create one when my game arrives. Two of our VECTOR members have a Combat. Neat game, but one thing I dislike about the EM Zac's is the feeble meep-meep sounds of the electronic board. Aerobatics also uses one and I assume most (all?) of the others do too. I'm thinking about piggybacking a Gottlieb chime unit or maybe some bell units instead.

  Check out these 3" flipper EM's as candidates: Gottlieb King Pin (1973) Bally Bow and Arrow, Gottlieb 300/Top Score (1975) Bally Freedom (early prototype edition, if you can find one), Bally Old Chicago (1976) Williams Rancho, Zaccaria Aerobatics (1977) Stern Pinball from 1977 also fits the bill, but I recommend the SS version because the EM has crappy card-edge score reel connectors which are a PITA to rebuild... and you have 16 of them to do since it's a 4-player.

  Just got these. They'll come up real nice with a bit of effort. Play fields are excellent, hardly a mark. Perfect inserts and key lines. Aerobatics back glass is perfect, Ski Jump needs a few touch ups, only minor. Cabinets are very nice. The Aerobatics is RAF Red Arrows themed, great for the UK.   I know of a pinball by Zaccaria called Devil Riders that was a Italian game. Except it is not an EM... but a Generation 2 Zacc from the 80's... Zaccaria made a few decent EM starting in the mid 70's. The ones I know: Combat, Aerobatics, Moon flight, Wood's queen and I forget a few. There are not ultra rare around here, but we are closer to Italy...

  My Zac (Aerobatics) was a garage sale find. I just did a simple shop job and a couple of minor fixes, it was in pretty great shape already.
