The NOVA Knockout pinball tournament - 2015

Knockout-style pinball tournament

This is the third annual "NOVA Knockout" pinball tournament, held in Fairfax, VA. This will be a Brackelope knockout format. Check the details below for everything you will need to know about the tournament, and please RSVP at [email protected] if you intend on attending.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS:

- Three-strikes knockout style tournament done via Brackelope. If everyone is WPPR hungry, we can make it a four strike. I will cast a vote on the day-of before the tournament starts.

- $15 entry fee. $10 goes to payouts, $5 goes towards funding food and drinks.

- All main tournament proceeds will be handed out to the top three winners.

- The game lineup is:
The Sopranos (Stern)
Baywatch (Sega)
Hollywood Heat (Gottlieb)
Demolition Man (Williams)
The Simpsons Pinball Party (Stern)
(Hollywood Heat will potentially be swapped out for Bally Eight Ball)

- Tournament starts at 2PM sharp. Doors open at 12PM for practice and sign-ups. Practice ends at 1:45PM for roll call, rules/format refresher, and any other questions that the players have.

THINGS OF NOTE:

- Doors open at 12PM, main tournament starts at 2PM sharp. All machines off at 1:45PM for roll call and other information.

- PLEASE get in contact with me if you plan on attending. Based on the turnout from last year I do not think we will run into space issues, but please let me know so I can get an idea of how much space we will need. Again, we need 16 players for full IFPA endorsement. I also need a head count to ensure we don't go too far over 24 players (this tournament will be held at my apartment as usual, so space is limited). Email me at [email protected].
