DPO EXPO 2015

The place to be on 7&8 november for real Pinheads !!

After a very succesfull DPO EXPO 2014 the DPOteam is proud to announce that in 2015 this event will take again place, this time on 7&8th november.

Have you always been jealous on your wife when she enjoys fairs with her friends, and returns home with great stories? Wouldn’t you be willing to miss (or share) your friend for a weekend, for the ultimate pinball experience? Then DPO Expo 2015 is the place to be.

Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger. The members of Daft Punk couldn’t have phrased it better. Think about more pinball machines, more vendors, national and international speakers, sidegames, great food but most important: Atmosphere with the capital P of Passion.

There are plenty of ideas ‘behind the Dot Matrix Screens’ and hard work is being done already, to realize as many as ideas with a DPO-team which has never been this big and this eager. And this is all done for you. When you prefer spending the weekend with your parents in law in a holiday bungalow, go ahead. But don’t be upset afterwards, when you hear all the great stories from those who participated. After all, you got a warning.

Also we are proud to announce that at DPO2015-Expo 2 legends from the industry will be on stage:

Roger Sharpe, ‘the man who saved pinball’.

In 1976 Roger showed the New York Council that pinball should be legalized again. That happened. Roger has been working in licensing for decades, and he recently helped Dutch Pinball with their The Big Lebowski license as well. Besides of that, he is the father of Josh and Zach Sharpe, worldranked top-players. Zach won the DPO in 2013.

Greg is wellknown from eg. Medieval Madness, Revenge from Mars and Star Trek (ST The Next Generation as well as the new Stern Star Trek). With Dennis Nordman, Greg designed the title Whoa Nellie (Big Juicy Melons), which was taken into production by Stern Pinball recently.


And do not forget that 2015 is going to be a remarkable year, also for the Dutch Pinball Industry. It is expected to show the production model of the Big Lebowski. For the true pinball enthusiasts, big developments like this, are already more than enough reason to be there. And the DPO-team is talking with international celebetries to make the program even more interesting for you.

AND OF COURSE…

Of course still the tournaments will be there. After the Dutch victory in 2014 we challenge all the players from abroad to take it away from us, you will not succeed :-).
