Getting into the hobby.

I have been a software developer in telecom for the last 25 years, and otherwise been into anything electronic since touching our first Atari 2600 and Comodore vic 20.. I spent a great deal of time at a local Space Port and Roller Skate Rinks when I was younger, and am now realizing re-living some of that with a new game room / hobby at home. Somehow I have even gotten approval, or at least non-explicit denies for a few recent additions to the home. Found this site, and looking to continue to build out and learn to tinker with some of the machines I have..
